Hacking Updating Wii for Kirby's Return to Dreamland with HBC

Hi, I don't know if this is the correct forum to post this in, but I was wondering how I could go about getting the update for Kirby's Return to Dreamland without going through Nintendo's official update. I have the homebrew how I like it set up, so I do not want to lose it. Is there a way to do it? Sorry if this is stickied somewhere, but the forums can get confusing.

What update? The system menu? Just update and reinstall the HBC and cIOSes if it stubs them, or you can use ModMii in combination with a SysCheck report.

That's what I did. I just got d2x 249/250 WADs and the HackMii installer ready beforehand. I think those are the only things that are current that the official update removes.

There's always the option of using DOP-Mii's system update. It doesn't remove the HBC or install the stubs.

I updated the wii menu, everything stayed the same lol. I just didn't want to lose my emulators.
