Hacking Homebrew Updating my PSP From 1.5

Ok so here's the deal, I haven't touched my PSP in ages and I want to update it to 3.80 M33. My PSP used to have a clean 1.5 but I wrote some things to the flash with Xflash ages ago (So it says my firmware is 13.37

). I always used Devhook to emulate 2.7 I think. So can anybody give me a step by step to update my PSP. Because as far as I know I can't just update from 1.5 to 3.80 M33. Help would be uber appreciated

EDIT: And also isn't having stuff written to the flash dangerous? Shouldn't I remove it?

edit: there's usually stuff like
"- Installation requires a PSP with 3.52 M33-3 or higher." that's for 3.80 m33

Yes I know that, but how do I update to 3.52 M33? And I have some stuff written to flash which could be dangerous.

You have to go 1.50 to 3.52 M33, then patch it up to 3.52-4 (The 4th patch), then you can update to 3.71/3.80

Going from 1.50 straight there doesn't work.

Also if you are scared about breaking your PSP don't do it, but lots of people have its got the same risks as updating the official firmware really with regards to writing the flash

Ok thanks alot, any way to remove the stuff from the flash? And if I brick Pandora battery will unbrick right?

You don't need to worry about removing stuff from the flash or tinkering with it in any way, Dark Alex has it sorted

Yeh a pandora battery will fix a brick, providing you have one lol
