Hello,
i'm running AMS 1.4 with Hekate 15, Tinfoil 15 and the sigpatches from 22.10.2022. Fw is also updated to the newest version. I can install games, but applying the latest patches fails.
I didnt try this out for every game, but updating MHR always fails with "tinfoil failed push record". Afterwards it's no longer possible to boot, and I have to restore the emuMMC from a backup.
Is this a known issue, or is something wrong with my setup? Should I use some special boot sequence or apply some special options when ding the upgrade?

I would get other signature patches because it sounds like they're wrong.
Is your card fat32 or exfat? I would take it out and do a chkdsk on it.

Thanks for the reply. It's fat32 and I'd rule out the card, since I've had the same issue with another card.

I'm using sigma sigpatches. I'm not aware that there are any different ones

Sigma patches should be good but try these just in case:

Sigpatches (GBATemp) — alternative Sigpatches for when others don’t seem to work.

I assume you’re booting with this stanza:

[Fusee]
icon=bootloader/res/icon_payload.bmp
payload=bootloader/payloads/fusee.bin

Did you grab the latest fusee.bin from Atmosphere GitHub?

yes, the fusee.bin is from github. These are the error messages i get. Could there maybe be some old leftover sigpatch files?

Should be OK as is, but removing them and installing a fresh set from latest zip won’t hurt anything.

It could be the NSP you have. Temporarily try another installer?

Installers

  • Tinwoo — A nice installer for when you just want to install.
  • DBI — Capable feature filled and fast installer.
  • Goldleaf — The kitchen sink but it can also install games.
  • Tinfoil — Polished installer. Recommend the Self installing version.
Tinwoo would be a great test.

So the other sigpatches didnt change a thing. I'm thinking about setting up from scratch again. Is there a way to backup my current games and save files?

JKSV will back up your saves for import later.
You can boot into Hekate to back up you emunand but if you want to start clean you can use NXDumpTool to dump your games (or just download your backups again.)

e: did you try Tinwoo? It’s a much more straightforward installer.

Hey, thanks for all the support. In the meantime i have solved the issue. Actually it was an error with the formatting. Hekate Migrate emuMMC and fix partition solved the issue
