Hacking Updated to 7.1.0-15, r4i Gold stopped working, looking for replacement

Hello GBATemp,

today I had a brain fart and updated my 3ds without updating my r4i gold first. Now it doesn't work, it provides no message or anything it just doesn't show anything. It was my mistake and I have no other older DS to rely on.

So I'm planning to buy a new Flashcart and I want your advice. I'm looking for a flashcart to play DS ROMs (not interested in 3ds roms as I can purchase games in eShop), preferably that can be updated outside of 3DS so that this issue does not ocurr again. I would prefer one that has wifi compatibility and that can connect to Pokemon Ranch on Wii.

Which flashcart would you suggest and which site would you recommend me to buy it from (Europe)?

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up going to my local gaming store and saw a DS Lite for sale for 40 bucks. Sure, the flashcart is half the price but having a DS lite ensures this problem never happens again and I get to transfer pokemons to my real cart without having to hassle a friend. The only problem is that its pink haha.
