Ok, guys! My emunand is on RX 10.5 and my sysnand is still on Ver 7.2.0! So do I go to RX tools and R un RX in sysnand? My version of RX Tools does not have a dev mode! I tried to open up sysupdater from sysnand and it says go to eshop and download again! I'm so close guys and I am sorry for being such a noob!

Thats what i said without the billions of steps :P
edit: lol looks like i misstyped sysnand instead of sysupdater in the end :P
no you did not
What version are you at? Ctrbootmanager only works for 9.0+ (since it needs menuhax and themes were introduced in 9.0)
If you don't want to use a game and have access to homebrew, you can use rxtools to install sysupdater cia on your sysnand and then use sysnand to update to 9.2
you gave no mention of devmode/pastamode
if he ran sysupdater from sysnand he would have bricked

Afaik the only way to boot rxtools in sysnand is with devmode/pasta?

I'm guessing you're using RxTools 2.5, which does not have DevMode. Either use a Nightly or get 2.6 to do it. (Preferably the nightly, so you're up-to-date even after updating sysnand)

Absolutely do not update in RxMode SysNAND, because you will brick if you do that.

incorrect . . . umm what about the option that says boot sysnand

if you select this option you boot rxtools sysnand not devmode
see the difference

I was given this guide to get CFW! Do I need something different?
use the build found in this link [Tutorial] Installing rxTools Custom Firmware - (Old 3DS and 2DS)

Oh, wtf, i never used the rxtools menu for rxmode, i thought it only worked for emunand except for some advanced options, my bad then, glad you were here to correct me before he did anything wrong

Ok, wormdood I will give it a try! I am at work right now and I will let you guys know! Also one more question how can I go about getting a copy of my nand like I use to do on the wii?

the video you used should have had you create a nand.bin file as well
edit: its a very useful guide you should read the whole first post in it

Yeah, he must have skipped that part! Thanks a lot for your time and I will check this all out after work!

So I have managed to change the RX tools but now I can not access emunand! Says files is corrupt! Do I need to basically redo the cfw to change RX tools?

Update! I managed to get the RX Tools updated, to the one you all have told me to get! I go to devmode and it boots me to the sysnand just like the tutorial says! I try to open sysupdater and it saysThe software could not be launched. Please download again from eshop! This is getting frustrating as can be! Sorry fellas for my bad attitude! Any suggestions would be good!

ok so try to give it what it wants . . . .(assuming you unlinked your nands) go to settings app and delete sysupdater then enter devmode and install it again

Duh! My mistake! So I go into dev mode then I should be able to hit the Health and Saftey app to launch FBI then install sysupdater on the sysnand to up update! Correct? I feel like a total dumb ass if thats right!

(assuming you have injected fbi into h+s on sysnand) yes

I don't think I did that! I remember injecting it to the emunand during setting up cfw for the first time! He said not to do anything with the sysnand! Can I still inject it to the sysnand?

you need to set up fbi in sysnand so do the same fbi injection process you did for emunand but for sysnand once you have fbi on sysnand you can install sysupdater there
