UPDATE: The Xbox Series X will apparently not launch this Thanksgiving
The information about tech specs isn't the only Xbox Series X news we're getting--we also now possibly have the official launch date of the console itself. The Microsoft website changed its original text from "power your dreams, coming holiday 2020" to "power your dreams, coming Thanksgiving 2020". In the United States, this year's Thanksgiving will take place on November 26th, though the date itself was never stated and was only mentioned on the Xbox Australia and Xbox India sites, while the American page hasn't yet been updated to mention this. Additionally, both regional pages were quickly edited back to say "coming 2020" once more, after the change was noticed by many. Regardless, a November launch seems quite accurate, and almost certain, considering the original XBox, 360, and One, all previously released in the month of November.

UPDATE: Well that was put down quickly. The Xbox Series X will definitively NOT be launching on Thanksgiving Day. Xbox's Major Nelson took to Twitter to shut down speculation explaining that for reasons unknown, the Xbox website in certain regions displayed an incorrect release date for the system, and that Xbox is committed to releasing "Holiday 2020", not Thanksgiving.
