Homebrew UPDATE HBC

Well I have never update the HBC. Everytime I go there is asking for an update. I'm running the old HBC .9 I think. I have 3.4u Wii. Thats all I have instale and rev 10 to play of usbloader. If I update will it cause my wii to mess up? Do not have softmii or preloader insatll. I really do not want to down grade.

Updating the Homebrew Channel is perfectly safe and it won't affect your current mods.

However, do not update your Wii system menu unless you know what you're doing.

You need to have IOS38 to update to the new version because it runs of a version of IOS38.

The Wii system menu runs of IOS60 for 4.0/4.1.

So make sure these are patch installed before you would do anything.
