Homebrew Update a Game?

I was wondering if it possible to update a game with a 3DS on 9.2? I can't access the eShop without upgrading, so I'm not really sure what to do.

yes it's possible.
you just have to unlink your emunand and update it to the lastest version(10.7)

I have menuhax set up, and I messed around with some of the games that people have made, such as that portal game. I have not set up emunand.

Oh, well on 9.2 you have a TON of hax. Kernel level (which if you don't know, is pretty much full system control).

if you want to update games, install cias without triggering the eshop check(update check) you must create an emunand, unlink the emunand, have a cfw and then update your emunand to the lastest version(10.7)
