Homebrew unlaunch 1.8 unknown old firmware error

When I try to install Unlaunch 1.5 or newer I get the unknown or old firmware error but im on 1.4.5e.
Is it because I didn't initially set my DSi clock correctly?

Currently 1.4 because its the newest working version that I can use.

what im going to say may be risking but not sure

downgrade to 0.9 then upgrade to the latest

in the past i had a problem like that and thats how i fixed it. by downgrading and then upgrading.

I have to load the unlaunch 1.8 installer as bootcode.dsi after installing unlaunch 0.9
