u should put a clean sd and see if it goes in sysnand ,if it does try setting up a9lh using this https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-1-(Homebrew)

kinda time consuming though ,
Suggesting a new entrypoint altogether should only be done if the thing causing the error is menuhax. Otherwise, it's not needed.
Even if the problem is menuhax, you can just reinstall it a few more times and see if that fixes the error. Leave other entrypoints alone.

aye, but i wanted him to check if the 3ds boots up with the empty sd card ... and then rather than going for menuhax + rxtools , go for a9lh + cakes/luma/etc

Have you try taking out the sd card out and see if it can power on to sysnand? If it does power on, something is wrong with the file within the sd card like missing some file. If taking the sd card out and not power on to sysnand, it's brick. By the way, did you do anything before it stop working?

Back up everything on your sd card and set up a new emunand. Don't forget to back up your emunand.bin with either emunand tool for pc, decrypt9 or emunand9 (the last 2 need to be launched from the hombrew menu, but the first one is the easiest and fastest way to dump and injecting back to your sd card after setting up new emunand).
