Hacking uLOADER 1.6 - usb loader with USB support!!!

I'm wondering if anyone can help me out. I installed cios 222 as 36 merged with 38 and cios 223 as 36 merged with 37.

When ever I try loading a game from uloader 2.1c, it hangs on the loading screen. My wii remote lights flash, but won't be recognized.

I have a 1TB Lacie Drive w/ 2 partiitons. Primary is WBFS and the other is NTSC.

I also get an error message when first loading uloader that it can't recognize the HD, but after a couple seconds it loads it.

I have tried loading games with cios 222 and 223 for uloader as well as USB loader + cfg. Both hang on loading (not even a blank screen yet).

It sounds like others have experienced this issue, but I can't make out if there was a resolution. Sounds like another poster also had a dual partition. Could this be the issue?

I'm on 4.0.

Now in 2.1C Hermes is testing with more USB detect and init options...

With this feature, uLoader is the most compatible USBLoader at the moment.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried to reinstall 222 as default only. No luck. Same issue. I also notice with USB loader, I can specify mload 222 or 223. Both result in freezing. Screen looks something like this:

Not necessarily, in this case, I don't think choices are good because this isn't brand name we're talking about. We're not trying to show off here, nor is this really considered a luxury, but more of a tool. It's really confusing when information in regards of the Wii is all over the places (unlike PSP, PS2, etc...at least to me, Wii homebrew seems disorganized compared to other consoles I wanted to do similar things with) In any case, I would prefer these USB Loaders to be unified and make one good one rather than have a bunch a different one (even though that will never happen).

This is just my opinion though =) Of course, everyone is entitled to their own

You can change it from special menu pressing HOME. You can exits from the password box pressing B. Parental control list the last 8 games launched

ALTERNATIVE DOL NOTES
---------------------

You need to create a "games" folder in the root of the SD.

The dol file is loaded in automatic form using the game id as filename 

For example REDP41.dol for Red Steel: sd:/games/REDP41.dol

How to extract the dol file for Red Steel.

- Use wiiscrubber and open the red steel iso and select the partition 1

- Extract redsteel.dol and rename it as REDP41.dol

- Put the dol file in the "games" folder in the SD

- Of course: install red steel iso in the hdd.

NOTE: don´t remove or modify the original main.dol

You just made the best USB loader even better. Have you contacted Hermes to maybe get it officially included? I think he may be possibly looking for people to help improve the appearance, not that the appearance bothers me, because it's easily the most functional loader out there.

Hello to all,
Well yestrerday whent and installed u Loader and work really good,now oday I can't get it to load none of the games that played yesterday,It tells that There is a problem with the loader and the game ID is different with a red brackground.
but nothing was changed in the Wii.
Any ideas?

it seems that your games are corrupted... have you deleted any game with USBLoader or wbfsManager?

There is a bug (fixed in uLoader) in older versions of USBLoader and wbfsmanager that make corrupt WBFS when you are deleting games.

josete2k yes I deleted some of the games from the favorites page,and after that is when the problem started.
I got version 2.5b now,so the bug is gone in this version?
