Maybe it's time to ask, what is working?

If I get things right, you can run mmm trough the letterbomb.
Pretty much all you tried in there failed? You better don't experiment with that, as it might result in a brick.
If you run the hackmii installer from letterbomb, it gives you a stack dump dsi error.
If you run modmii, it doesn't download the needed wad's correctly?

I assume you know that modmii stores it's downloaded stuff in the temp folder. If you erase that folder, it will download it's stuff again.

Trying to rush things or getting angry usually doesn't help much to solve such issues.

Yeah, I know.
The issue with ModMii is resolved for now, after checking it out myself.
I'll try these next steps after 1+ hours.

Well, I tried the steps in the ModMii guide, and I'm stumped at the first step, which is installing HBC and Bootmii.

The most dangerious part here is that I don't understand a lot of the alternatives very well.
"if this Wii was previously modified, and it has either the HBC, BootMii as Boot2, or a Forwarder Channel installed, you can use that instead of an exploit.

If using BootMii as Boot2 to install the HBC, turn on your Wii with the SD Card inserted and BootMii will load. Go To the SD menu and load bootmini.elf. This will load the Hackmii Installer allowing you to reinstall the HBC.

If using a Forwarder Channel, just save the boot.elf/dol from the app you want to load (ie. SD:\apps\hackmii_installer\boot.elf or SD:\apps\MMM\boot.dol) to the location used by your specific Forwarder Channel (ie. SD:\apps\usbloader\boot.dol). Then start the channel and the Hackmii Installer will load allowing you to reinstall the HBC. Note, if your forwarder channel only loads dol's and not elf's, launch MMM's boot.dol, then use its "App Manager" to load the Hackmii Installer."

What I DO know, is that HBC was previously installed, but the reformat deleted every channel. I'm not sure what is left, but according to my experience with the PS3, nothing is really gone in terms of internal software, so the IOS should still be the same. The main question is...what else is still the same before the reformat?

I followed the Hackmii solutions guide to its depth.
All the WADs installed properly.
Even Hackmii booted up like it should.

But I STILL get the exception error when I try to install HBC.

Uh..wha?
Sorry, but I really don't understand what you want me to do.

You mean "hackmii solutions" was just simply steps used for running syscheck?

1. Find latest syscheck
2. extract it to get boot file
3. replace boot from sd card with this from syscheck
4. trigger exploit (letterbomb)
5. instead hackmii installer you will get syscheck
6. run it
7. file syscheck.csv (or something like that) will be created on sd card
8. paste content of that file here using forum "spoiler" tag

you owe me 2‌€

Oh, I see...
I tried both the .dol and .elf...
They both wouldn't boot up properly.
.elf just resets to Wii menu, and .dol flashes to what looks like some GUI for a split second and goes back to Wii menu.

Let me try again.

Nope.
Nothing's in my SD card.
How the hell can a syscheck run fail?

I had the "private" letterbomb folder and the boot file in my SD card, before AND after the run.
And nothing else.

Well, I tried it again, but this time, I ran MMM first through letterbomb, and then ran syscheck while loading IOS250.
It worked, sure, but it sure is taking a while during "Testing IOS vulnerabilities...Please wait...".
I might even be convinced it's not going anywhere and I have to restart this damn thing, but I'll wait a little longer.

Still, this gives a clue that something is wrong with the IOS, then.

EDIT: I honeslty don't think syscheck is supposed to run for 5 freaking minutes.
*sigh* I think I should restart.

Dammit, I've been experimenting since morning, and it's afternoon already.
I haven't eaten breakfast yet. While I go and eat, can you guys suggest an IOS to load as for running syscheck in MMM?

Different approach.
There is option to reload IOS in MMM.
What IOSes do You have in that option to choose?
List only >200.
