Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, a cult classic action platformer in the PS2/GCN/XBOX era, is actually getting a 4th entry in his series after nearly 10 years without a release. The new entry is a 2D sidescrolling platformer, and will launch along with the 3 previous titles on Steam at a later date.

What did you expect? Easier to distribute with a large userbase. Plus I don't even own a current gen console excluding the wii u so its great for people like me who don't buy systems with three games.

Ty 2 and 3 had 2D GBA versions, and it looks exactly like those.

Oh, what a nice surprise. I liked the first two games but never had the chance to buy the third game on a console. Had the third game on handheld but didn't play it much. So gonna pick this up on Steam!
