The tug-o-war continues, but I won't be updating until there is a good reason and Mii Parade is not it. Good news for those folks who decided to jump the gun though.

So I guess the Trucha method/Gecko Freeloader workaround is the "final" solution for Trucha signed discs? I sure hope Nintendo doesn't break this too...for me personally the Trucha method is more precious, cause I have a modded Wii!

I know when you normally load a game in gecko you get red colors when you use an rgb cable. But do you still get red colors if you use trucha signed discs via the gecho method if you use an rgb cable

once more big N gets pwned

Great for twilizers! But I will don't update for now. Trucha signed discs are working though the gecko but it's better to run them normally.

Yey, works better that alpha on 3.2, it seems to have a lot less of code.

NICE!!
This is the best news of the week.
I still won't update until it's necessary but it's good to know it will be safe to do so.
Two big thumbs up to the people who made this possible!

Bushing printed the C Source and explained what were the 2 errors to make the new version of TP hack.

Is that not a problem to tell where the bugs are ? Couldn't it be easy for Nintendo to correct it now ?
Or maybe they will spend another few months before updating the firmware, letting hackers find new hacking method.

It would be pointless for them to try to correct it now, since it's just two lines of code. They aren't about to point out their fallacies and an update to correct it might just open more holes.

The next update will probably be more strict, such as disabling the Homebrew Channel.

Yes.
And Gecko OS came out.
Go in WiiBrew's page for Gecko Region Free for it.

What's the difference between GeckoOS and Gecko Region Free?

GeckoOS is the new name of the GeckoRF, but is also a custom loader for things like WiiRD.

Sorry. Spotted it and I had to. Totally off-topic. My bad.

Anyways, now that it's been released it's great news. Does that mean i'm updating to 3.3? No. It means I can give ppl who updated to 3.3 VC games. B-day = 5VC games. =]

This was a triumph...
I'm making a note here: HACKED AGAIN
It's hard to overstate our satisfaction...
Team Twiizers...
We do what we must because we can...
For the good of all of us,
Except the ones who pirate...
But there's no sense crying over every quick plug...
We just keep on trying while there's still one more bug...
And the homebrew comes back,
And we make a neat hack...
For the people whose Wiis want new life...
I'm not even angry...
I'm being so sincere right now...
Even though they broke the hack and patched it...
And fixed IOS30...
And broke every fake signed disk out there...
As they failed it hurt because...
They were attacking homebrew!
Now these quick hack fixes have some beautiful holes...
So we found them fast and easily met our goals...
And I'm glad we got burned...
Think of all the things we learned...
For the people whose Wiis want new life!
Go ahead and patch it...
I think I'd like to have some fun...
Maybe you'll find an undisclosed bug...
Maybe that huge one...
That was a joke, haha, fat chance!
Anyway, this homebrew's great.
It's also legal to use...
Look at me still talking when there's hacking to do...
It might take three months...
But they'll patch this one too...
I've experiments to run, there's reversing to be done...
On the people whose Wiis want new life...
And believe me the Wiis want new life!
I'm busy hacking and they want new life...
I feel FANTASTIC and they'll get new life...
While you're dying they'll still be alive...
And when you're dead they'll still have some life...
STILL ALIVE...still alive.....

no one caught the Portal connection?

My reply...

The Cake Is A Lie!

BTW, Portal is one hell of an awesome game, and it would be so great on the Wii... almost any FPS game would be great on the Wii... but Portal ROCKS!

can anyone help me?
i don't know how the twilight thing works.
i did everything the site says, but where do i get the snes.dol or snes.elf?
i had a snes.exe and i called it snes.dol but it didn't work like i already thought
