Hacking [Tutorial] Running kexploit 5.5.X w/ HaxServer (Loadiine, Homebrew Launcher, etc...)

Awesome tutorial, thanks a bunch and for those that are a little worried about being only (for updates etc) you could use your local pc without internet connection and be able to execute this method (look for the other thread that say offline method)

I can get the illuminati screen just fine via self-serving with haxserve, using loadiine.ova, or any other hosted site - but it just freezes on the white screen with Wii U on the bottom right when going back to the browser. Any ideas? Tried reformatting, clearing browser data, checking folder/file content, etc. I have tried 20+ times in arow and it freezes on step 2 every time.

Is your SD card named "WIIU" by any chance? I had that exact same issue and as soon as I changed the sdcard to anything else it worked.

You mean that I just click the left link to be installed then click the right one without using SD Card or any thing else

I have some questions.. can I play both US and UK Europe games? can it load games from USB 1tb HD or just memory cards? do I have to do all those steps each time I power on the wiiu?

Some EU (europe) games works on a ntsc console (USA) like fatal frame, but varies on games (not all of them works on different regions: NTSC on EU for example, there some fixes but you have to look for them).

The only way you load the games is via SD card for now (if your going to buy a sd card make sure is a branded one and is more than 16gb at least)

Yes, each time you have to run the kexploit and then loadiine to run your games. (meaning you have to enter 192.168. xxxxx etc etc each time on your browser).

Keep in mind to be careful that the wii doesnt update because then you will be unable to run the exploit. See the other threads. there are plenty of other methods (offline and online) that could more useful for you. Also, there is a faq section, so read that as well.

What am I doing wrong? I tried putting it on desktop and pointing command to there as well but same thing. Also on HD.

Do i have to follow this tutorial only to play my backups? and how can i even backup my games first? Isn't there anything i have to do before using Kexploit?

thats right, but actually you need loadiine_gx2.elf on your SD-card

why I always stuck at vdo downloading screen many time ?
My success rate is about 20% .. I try to run kexploit from both self hosting and website.
Anybody help me please ..

Here is a small modification to the HaxServer. This one can run without any graphical interface. This is useful when running locally on a raspberry PI without having to run X

This is for US console. Source is also included.

I just added the same for EU. If someone could test and report.

No. Maybe with emuNand or IOSU, but not yet.

Guys, i have a problem.
I cant start the homebrew-launcher on my 5.5.1E.

What i did:
1. K://wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/homebrew_launcher.elf on a FAT32 SD
2. Launched /hax?kexploit10 and then /hax?launcher but i get the "FSGetMount.." error.
3. I tried Homebrew Launcher RC2 and RC3.. none boots

Then i tried loadiine.ovh but it gets the same "FSGetMount.." error.
Any advice?
