There's gotta be some way to trick a n3DS into believing it's an o3DS for the sake of a transfer from a n3DS to o3DS, hopefully someone who is more knowledgeable can find a way to do this for people who don't have access to multiple n3DS.
Yes you can. I already have, it gave me a new FC as well, made a new NNID, downloaded free apps with eShop etc. Everything works like it did prior to being banned and I had both.I've already unbanned myself through other means. My point is though, can you link a new NNID to a previously banned system after doing this and then access the eShop or Pokébank without receiving 011-6901? "Seems" isn't good enough for me.

I mean you guys can think it does't work if you want but it 100% worked for me. I didn't post about it to start a debate or anything just tried sharing what I did and what happened. All I did was unban the 001/002 then used the DSiWare downgrade and restored everything after, except my original banned 3DS. Meh

I'm not complaining, it just makes me feel like something this simple is too good to be true. I'll wait for more confirmation before trashing a spare system.

I'm severely on the fence.

Interesting, but it worked.
My full setup before was as so:
MHG N3DS - Banned
Removed NNID by pressing X+Y+A in NNID settings
Copied contents of moveables.sed to Friendcodeseed_B (Correct name?) and injected which removed the 002 ban. Still unable to access eShop or link a new NNID.
Blue N3DS - Not banned
No NNID
Did a system transfer. As the MHG N3DS had no NNID I didn't need to sign in to transfer.
Once the Transfer was over, my MHG N3DS formatted. I set it up as new and then setup a new NNID.
Setup now:
MHG N3DS - Not Banned
New NNID connected to it with no errors. Full online access.
Blue N3DS - Banned
Online access but unable to access eshop or create a new NNID.
Restoring an old backup did not unban this
I hope this helps if people are unsure.

Well, I've also spent the last couple days drudging through RAM dumps and figuring out other bypass methods that so far work %100. Something this simple just seems entirely too unrealistic.Well they originally blocked System Transfer on banned systems. We unbanned ourselves the the LFCS trick prior to doing this, thus unlocking System Transfer. Nintendo knew about this, they blocked it, but we managed to unblock it with @Giodude 's guide.
You are free to wait for confirmation, though! I understand we're dealing with some weird stuff. x__x

Well now I feel like a dick. I didn't check the eShop fully then because I didn't try to link another ID on that other DS before returning it. Just tested online and eShop access, so the ban probably wasn't entirely gone. It is gone on my original DS though. Honestly, I think I'm gonna call the store and see if I can buy it back if I can if it is banned now. Fuck. ( I mean on the bright side mine is unbanned completely though)Wait, an old backup did not unban your now banned 3DS?
Can anyone confirm they restored a backup and it worked, please??
