Hi everybody, been a while since I've been on here. My dad gave me his old iPod touch. It's 3rd gen I think, pretty sure it's similar to the iPhone 3GS. It's running 3.1.2 firmware. What I'd like to do with it is load it up with NES games and maybe a couple of movies.
The problem is that I have little experience doing this type of stuff. I've hacked the PSP before (that's easy) but this seems a bit more daunting. For one thing, the guides I've read direct me to update my firmware on iTunes. Since there have been huge advances in the iOS I hesitate to do this. Is there anyone who can point me in the direction of a straightforward guide for this specific type of hack with the old firmware (if that's what's needed)? Thanks!
