Is the program assigned to patch IOS37 as a compulsory step or is it optional? If it does will it clash with those who installed IOS223?

IOS 223 --> using IOS 37 merged with IOS 36

I successfully downgraded ios15, but when I try to install the ios36 that I got from the NUSD, I get error -2011

LITTLE HELP PLEASE???

Again: People who don't understand why they downgrade IOS15 should not mod their Wii.

Why shouldn't they ? I don't really understand either why it specifically has to be IOS15.
Couldn't you just explain ?

Here's what I got of Wiibrew:

WiiBrewIOS15:

Contains NAND BOOT PROGRAM (AKA NANDloader) -- this was probably accidental

Has this got something to do with it ?? I just want to learn, like many others I guess...

I meant you downgrade IOS15 to USE THAT to patch IOS36. I'm 99% sure that's the problem here. If somebody does not understand something real basic like this i see a bricked Wii in the future.

It won't clash with anything. When you install cIOS 222/223 you aren't installing anything to 36/37/38/60... You are combining the features of those IOS into 222/223.

What good do you have if you don't use the downgraded IOS15 to install a patched IOS36?
I personally tested this on a clean Wii, it works.

For some unknown reasons cBoot2 does not let me use Anytitle deleter properly, the ES_xxx ... God still give error although cBoot2 said IOS36 down to IOS3 are patched. Now TBR is my only saver.

Only have to wait until WiiPower figures out why a fully patched IOS36 still give error on ES_xxx ... daddy when using Anytitle deleter or I have to find/compile a version that works on IOS249.

And hopefully the next version of NUS downloader can fix its wad packing to give proper wad.

I've done some test with TBR 0.9 and I've managed to use ATD.
Don't understand... TBR is easy to use and logical why there so many question here...

Thanks for clearing that up. So there's no difference if I ran TBR to patch IOS37 before/after installing IOS 222/223 I suppose.

Can someone verify if the SHA-1 values of these wads are correct?

Thanks, just wanted to be sure that these will work with TBR used offline.

I have System Menu 4.0 (updated by SM4.0 updater), but I'm not able to install Bootmii as boot2. Will this Trucha Bug Restorer restore the boot2 to be able to install Bootmii as boot2?

If that was possible, there will be no more bricked Wii's out there...

I've used TBR on a LU65 Wii with SM4.0U to patch IOS36. Perfect, works like a charm!
WiiPower, thank you a lot!
