Trolling my little brother for Christmas

So since I have worked all year this year and was also finally able to get a credit card, I went a little over the top with Christmas gifts. Last year though I treated my parents. I didn't have enough money to get my brother anything.

Last year I got my mom a Keurig coffee maker, which was around $140. 3 months later I bought my dad a 4 (or was it 3?) D-cell LED Maglight because all of his other ones had broken (the batteries had expanded/corroded inside the lights, but the lights were ancient). That set me back another 40 or so.

This year I got my dad a $25 waffle iron on Black Friday and the 2010 Garmin map update which was $20 on clearance where I work. Map update because his StreetPilot c550 is years old, and he drives a truck for work that has to abide by height and GVWR restrictions; his GPS routes accordingly, but it sucks that it only has old roads. This is now (almost completely) up to date.

Got my mom a $25 George Foreman grill because ours is old and falling apart. This is much nicer and bigger.


As for my (12 year old) little brother, HE is the one getting treated this year. I bought him a flame red 3DS and an Acekard 2i. BIG improvement from his DS Lite and iTouchDS RTS.

The Acekard will be opened first. He will be somewhat indifferent because he doesn't play his DS much anymore. The 3DS will be opened next. However, this is where I troll the fuck out of him. Giftception - the 3DS is wrapped. And will be wrapped again. and again. The triple wrapped 3DS will be put into a box, which will be wrapped once and wrapped again. This box will be placed in a box which will be wrapped, which will be placed into ANOTHER box which will be wrapped, which will be placed into YET ANOTHER box that will be wrapped.

Going to be so fucking epic. I'll record him opening it and post the vid here XD

1- Wrap it in a layer of duct tape about three times;
2- Have him open it with oven mitts;
3- Put the actual 3DS box inside some random brown cardboard box on which you'll write "3dsz" multiple times with any pen.

If I was old or he was really little, I totally would. But he's 12 and I'm 19. I'm the tech addict of the household, lol, so he would immediately call bullshit.

I have mini boxes that would fit a 3DS and its accessories, I could print out a page that looks like the original box but write "3DZ" on it instead. Make it look like a chinese knockoff. And I love the oven mitts idea XD
