Hi guys I recently got a Xbox 360 Trinity 4GB model And I have a few questions

It seems like the best option right now is a Ace V3 (I read about the layout change I can handle that) but whats the diffrence with the chips?
It is just the timing of the glitching and reailaiblity of the glitch correct?

Do I really need a programming board like a JR Programmer?
This is to change the timing as well as backup the nand to create a "dual booting" 360. What is the benefit for Dual booting NAND?

I don't think I plan on using Xbox Live on this Xbox if that helps

I see, so lets say I purchase an Ace v3 right now, would it be unflashed and I would have to flash it myself or would it be pre-flashed and I would not need to do anything else?

Are you sure it's a Trinity? They did come with 4GB models early on, but were replaced with the Corona V2. If it's a Trinity, it should have 10.83a on the back sticker for power rating. Only foolproof way to tell though, is to disassemble and look at the mobo. Either way, if it's a Trinity I still suggest the old Coolrunner Rev C's. Until I can verify that this new series of Ace chips doesn't require modification, I wouldn't recommend it to a first timer. People will be annoyed with the fact that you have to use the full length of the Coolrunner CPU RST wire wrapped around the Xclamp, but a 15-30 second boot time beats frying your board because you think you messed something up, but its actually the Ace chip not being properly manufactured. Less room for screw up means more chance for success. If it's a corona the Ace is the best, even without SRGH timing files. They come pre-programmed for Corona boards so its easy.

I'm 100% sure its a trinity. It requires a 10.83a as required for trinity.

If I were to get the Coolrunner REV C would I need to flash it with a programmer?

My only concern now is I don't want to buy a programmer. I'm modding this Xbox just for fun and to play like 3 exclusive games

With a Trinity, you're going to have to program the chip regardless. None come programmed for a Trinity aside from the CR4, which is gonna run you 30$+ with shipping. A JR Programmer V2 will run you 20$ on eBay. Chip should be 5-10$. Get it hacked, sell the programmer for 15-20$. You won't need it again unless you do a bad nand flash. Be sure to backup your original nand as well. It's a safeguard against semi-bricks.
