Hi
smile.gif

Does anyone know where Triiforce stores the savegames?

Hi!

I have trouble to get Triiforce to work with my USB-HDD, Its a 1,5TB WesternDigital HDD. Triiforce works for me with USB-Stick and SD Card but not with my USB HDD. I have 2 Primary Partitions. The first is Fat32 200GB and set to active and the second is formated to WBFS. Its a mystery that the drive works with all the other homebrew. With Wadmanger 1.5 I can see the content of my wad folder but if i try to install i get the ret -1 error.
Anyone who knows to fix this?

big thx

your trying to install a wad from the hard drive to the emulated nand on the same hard drive correct?

i don't think it works like that, try installing a game from the sd card to the usb emulated nand.

or u can install games using wad2nand, or showmiiwads/showmiinand

i tryed wad2nand and it makes no difference. all titles are installed but triiforce says "can't get title list" thats the main problem with the hdd. the Fat32 partition is set to active but this didn't solve the problem. I dont know if this is a problem with my hdd. the hdd works fine with all other apps.

the version of wadman you have doesnt seem to have USB support(libfat)(ret = -1), not neccessarlily 1.5 but who ever compiled it might of had a bugged libfat which is in devkit R19 update, try wadman multimod by leathl as i know this has US?B support as he help me out with my bugged R19

Hello, I would like to explain my problem which is not exactly linked to TRIIFORCE but too virtual NAND :

I have dsicovered that I cannot install any wad on my NAND virtual with tools like iswad or wadmanager if CIOS 249 used is rev 17 : I got error -1017 each time.

If i revert to CIOS 249 rev 14 and I have no problem to install same wads with same tools

So my questions :
- Are there any known problem to use CIOS 249 rev 17 to install wads ?
- Do I need (may be it is a very stupid question) to update my USB virtual NAND in order to make it consistent with CIOS 249 rev 17 true NAND (when CIOS 249 rev 17 is used) and how to inject CIOS 249 rev 17 in my virtual NAND ?

Regards

Olivier

We have the same problem. It's an error with Triiforce, because mine works fine on a 1TB but not my 1.5TB WD HD.
(even though it runs triiforce ON the hard drive, it just won't load the USB nand; (-1) error.

I've posted more detailed information on this: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=&showto...t&p=2560233

ok i think its not a problem of my HDD. I tryed r75 but it still doesn't work. Could it be that triiforce is compiled with a different LIBRARY for the USB Drive support than other apps?

most possibly if its compiled with a brken devkit R19 libfat

Hi WiiPower!

Is it possible to add latest ES/FS Module to Triiforce for a better game compatibility (something like SNEEK compatibility) ?

See ya!

It's added automatically if you use a cIOS that uses them. Please understand that all nand emu, sd card, usb and wifi problems are related to the cIOS. If TriiForce works on a game from real nand, but not from emulated nand, it's a cIOS issue. And if there are wifi problems, we know that the cIOS doesn't access wifi the way some games expect. (we know that from disc games)

Arkanoid plus and Bubble booble plus doesnt work for me on Emulated USB nand on triiforce.
There are incompatible or its just me? They works on the real nand
The Adventure island doesnt work too.

Edit: Oh wait... Arkanoid plus made a lot of time to start (probably because i had to create a save file, triiforce is probably slower when you run the game for the first time...
I will retry with others games if it works.
Edit 2: Nevermind, it takes some like 5 minutes to Bubble Bobble plus to start, and ask me to create a save file. I'm glad it works well finaly.
Edit 3: In fact, it still very slow to start a game (bubble bobble) and I cant get Adventure island to work. Also Pokemon Rumble freeze on black screen.
Any anwser on this or its the same issue than Bit trip core/void that we need a save file in our emulated nand?

Anyone figure out how to get the strongbad and monkey island games to work?

Do they work in TriiForce if they are installed on the real nand and you select real nand in TriiForce?

phoenix wright wii ware also seems to have an issue in triiforce,, it just doesnt load.. all my other wii ware and vc games load up with no problem

the remote will stay on but its just stays on a black screen...
like previous poster's issue, it works when you select real nand, but not the usb/sd nand

I was thinking about the "restart/wii menu" crash problem while running an emulated nand in triiforce and thought maybe someone could create a custom wii menu that has no function other than resetting the wii when called upon. We could then load our nand backup in showmiiwad (showmiinand) and install the custom system menu into our nand backup. Then when you'd want to exit the wiiware/VC game, you'd select "wii menu" and the wii would be reset and the non-emulated system menu would boot up.

Not possible? I dunno, just an idea...

imtryign to get ocarina codes to work on the vc game in triiforce, it says the code were found and applied, but the codes are not activating in game and working.. ive tried the vbi hoooktype as well with no results..
