The three pokemon mystery dungeon wiiware games don't work.
Because some sort of wiiconnect24 error at start (109999)
Both from USB NAND and wii NAND.
They work when loaded normaly (system menu and card menu)

I've just dumped my FS with the simple fs dumper and put it on my external USB Drive. Triiforce nearly worked out of the box, but I got so much ??? Channels, from old installations which i didn't deleted properly with the wad manager. So i've managed to get rid of all my titles with deleting the content of the /title/00010001/-Folder. No more titles were found, which was perfect.

I've installed Super Mario Bros. VC, it worked flawless. No ??? at all, the only title being displayed. I'm currently testing pretty much every PAL N64 Title, I will report them when i'm finished.

Streets of Fury 2 AND Gunstar Heroes work PERFECTLY!

Thanks again for all of your hard work.

The Wad-Manage is buggy as hell when installing Wads via the NAND-Emulation on the external hard drive. After one installation the restarting of the wii doesn't work properly, need to put it completly off and on. I can only install one wad at the time, trying to install another one while nand emulating will result in a ticket error (ret = -1024). But not every time!... It's random, as I see.

I know, it's the TriiForce Thread, but i'm trying to describe my experience with the nand emulation.

Here is my list, I will update it every now and then.

Code:
Super Mario Bros.ÂÂPAL - Installs via WM 1.5 and works flawless. Played a few minutes.
Zelda OOTÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂPAL - Works flawless

I've got a PAL Wii btw, on 3.2 with Starfall installed. cIOS rev.14.

Do you use the same HDD for usb loader? If yes, do you have ANY issues with that? Like you need to so something special to get it recognised, random freezes/errors or whatever?

so I can only install one .wad at a time before getting the 1024 error and I also have to HARD power down my wii after using wadmanager 1.5 on my emulated nand.

Yep, exactly the same error as I have. ... I'm just thinking about using another IOS for installing them. Maybe the same IOS we used for the dumping? What could be the error...

I haven't seen anyone mention it, but has there been any issues relating to slower read speeds from SD or USB? Is that the cause of the DLC problems?

This is amazing stuff, thanks to everyone who worked on it! Nickasa, WiiPower, Waninkoko, I don't know who else.
I will get testing when I come home from Uni.

I have the same problem actually, after installing one wad everything else returns -1024 and trying to exit out locks the app up. Not sure how you'd use another IOS since 14 is the only one thats gonna let you use nand-emu

EDIT: When I try to mount the NAND I get the ERROR! (ret = -1)

Stuck here.....

should I format my SD card and leave only the dump files in the root and APPS and WAD folder with appropriate files inside?
Good luck getting an answer for that. I'm getting the same thing but nobody wants to explain folder structure.

EDIT: I believe that is a missing files error, so I believe we got something in the wrong place
I'm also getting the same error, and I consider myself experienced with softmodding the Wii. This is the first problem I've encountered with softmodding. I used the Simple FS-Dumper mod, and ended up with a folder 346mb in size. I found this odd, since my BootMii nand backup was 528mb in size. There were mysterious "empty" folders in this FS nand, including a Balls of Fury folder (which was empty, and happens to be a game on my USB hdd), and empty folders titled "import" and "tmp." Maybe this mod has issues with proper dumping?

My next step is to try the full FS-Toolbox app, and try to secure a proper NAND backup. My Wii is current 4.1U, cIOS_rev14, and I've tried using mutiple hdd drives, 1gb, 2gb Sandisk SD, and a 16gb Transcend SDHC, which I can confirm working with everything else I throw at them.

If anyone with the return = -1 error has overcome this issue, I'd appreciate a detailed description regarding the steps needed to fix this. I'm not a noob, but I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm experiencing a problem. I can't help but feel that getting Triforce to work is crucial if I ever hope to get the full NAND emu to work properly. Thanks in advance for any constructive and informative help

Bootmii dumps a full 1:1 of your nand, FS Dumper just dumps the file system, which would obviously be smaller in size.

I assume you moved the contents of the FS Dumper's folder into the root of your sd card / usb device after it finished dumping?

Hello after testing out TriiForce i can confirm it has worked on a good set of my VC games however with this new rev4 the nand emulation has given me some problems. I did two nand dumps with Simple FS Dumper and the other with FSToolbox and the FSToolbox dump was 232MBS while the Simple FS Dumper had a 330 MB size so from there im quite confused but that beside the point.

I got a flash drive and put the folders of the nand from the Simple FS Dumper dump in the root and then went to wad manager and initialized it and installed 2 wads from my sd card. (Of course i had to reboot the wii in between) Afterwards i went into TriiForce and i tried to start the nand on my USB which i had installed the wads two and i got Code Dump's three times and then i decided i would give it a go with the other nand dump from FSToolbox which i am currently installing a wad on. I will edit with results from that

*Edit
I still get a codedump from the second NAND dump so im quite confused as to why this is not working im going to look into where the size difference between my two dumps come in.

However does anyone know why the two dumps would be of different sizes if they were taken one after the other?

And damn it really takes a long time to install wads to an emulated nand i guess its USB speeds to blame.

**Edit 2
Well i have narrowed it down and it all comes from the title directory of the NAND thats where the almost 100MB difference comes from every other directory is identical this is weird but all i can do is keep fiddling with stuff.

And can anyone enlighten me as to why i am getting these code dumps?

A 346MB dump sounds about right because the 528MB dump is your total NAND with some keys added. The difference between the 528MB and 346MB is free space in your NAND. Are all of your hdd's formatted with FAT32? Are they in the first partition and active? The empty folders like import and tmp go straight into the root of the drive. e.g. usb:\import

You might want to try using zestig to extract the file from your BootMii backup. Try following the instructions here:

Yes, I placed the folders contained within FS-Dump on the root of my sd and hdd (not the whole FS-Dump folder itself). I've read extensively on how to do this, so I don't feel this is my problem, but thanks.

Yes my hdd has first partition FAT32, set to primary, and works with any homebrew I throw at it. I've tried three sd cards; 1gb, 2gb, and 16gb, but I still get the ret = -1 error in the latest WadManager 1.5 release. I copied all folders, empty or not, to the root of my sd and usb, and no matter which combination I try, I get the error. I'll also note that my NAND dump stated it was successful, and I didn't encounter any errors in the process.

It's frustrating because I have 100% compatibility in my softmodding experience, and others have confirmed this working, but I can't seem to figure out what's causing the problem. I'll try a few more NAND dumping options and report back later when I get a chance. Thanks for your response.

triiforce devs: any chance we will see the banner loading code making it into the normal builds soon?

Do you have 3.2? Maybe it's because of that.

Well, having a few Wiis I was able to compare it to the 4.0/4.1 Nintendo SD menu side by side and it's quicker.
once everyone is using external nands it will also save way more time...EG:

Currently to get VC etc to SD.....install with WM, return to menu, move game to SD, launch game.
Now....install to SD/USB with WM1.5, return to menu, launch game (with TriiForce)
