triiforce will boot my game fine for once, but the next time i try to load my SD nand again it will code dump. this always happens and i have to delete and redump my nand everytime.

Using someone elses nand dump eliminated the problem, but I have issues trying to sync my wiimotes. Other than the file SYSCONF, what other files should I use form my own nand dump on someone elses dump to maintain settings like wiimote sync?
Just resync the wiimotes once the VC/Wiiware has launched.

Copy over ONLY "shared2" and "sys" folders from YOUR NAND dump, keep everything else from the other one your using now since it seems to be helping your problem with the code dumps.. should solve the desync issues, not 100% sure but i think it's something about the bluetooth being specific per wii.. like how you have to manually sync again when you physically switch from one to another and i think the data or configs or whatever for that is in one or both of those folders.

Beta 6: Next round for Ocarina. Keep out if you did not test Ocarina with the very same settings in Gecko OS first!

Great job

I wont test this until it is deemed 100% safe as the console is not mine.

There's nothing that's unsafe about it. The only way it could harm your console is if you somehow bricked while installing the custom IOS, something you shouldn't even be able to do because the system menu doesn't normally run on it.

QUOTE(nicksasa @ Sep 28 2009, 04:10 PM) Yea, ocarina should work now havent tried myself

Nice! Thanks guys.

Be back with results.

*Remember to run cheats with Gecko OS first before trying with Triiforce Ocarina.

Ok seems that cheats only work when executing the apploader.(you can only do that by manipulating the source)

But please try anyways, i want more confirmation on this one as it's a little strange.

Cheats working on Mega Man 9 with GX Draw enabled. Have not tried other settings but the first one I picked seemed to work.

I ran Triiforce from HBC if that helps.

Thanks again!!!

Time to get back to testing.

Ocarina Codes and Debugger is working. I think this program is pretty much complete now, thank you.

I will be testing the following backups:

Ok i think the next version will let you choose if you want TriiForce's method to boot channels or Gecko OS'.

Tested Ant Nation, NAND from USB... seems to freeze before getting to the actual game.
However, testing on actual NAND the game works fine. Anyone replicate this issue?

PS: I also tested others (Ex: Driift Mania) and work without any issues from both USB and actual NAND

I have tested many games, through Nand-USB everything worked fine. Including debugger and ocarina codes. All worked fine. This is a 500GB Fat32 partition I am using.

I'm getting a code dump on both real NAND and emulated from SD before I can load any channels. What could be the reason for that?

PAL WII, 4.1E, CIOS 249 REV 14, HBC 1.05

@Wiipower or Nickasa
Is there anyway I could get an explanation on what the different hook type settings do? I know that you would know what each one supposently does or doesn't do. e.g VBI etc. This may help with testing VC/WiiWare games. Thanks in advance

^ or just which one's are the most likely to work. I still have a few wiiware games which tell me an error has occurred and to turn my Wii off.

Granted I've only tried VBI hook as I'm a lazy bastard. But gonna be putting triiforce on my brother's wii soon, and he's not soo tech savvy. Would be a lot easier to tell him what the go-to methods are if he gets errors.

Soo why Isn't there support for the internet channel.. Or does it already emulate it??It's the one channel I use the most. Other than HOmebrew channel.?When I dumped my nand with sfilesystem dumper it didn't dump the internet channel.?

I have no VC where Ocarina is available for, and i never used Ocarina on disc games, i can't tell the differences and especially not which one is the best. Look at the Wiird forums which ones they use for VC/WiiWare.

TriiForce does not load channels, only exception may be the new HBC, because it has an unusual title id.
