tried the mod by marc_max and was impressed. the accessibility is better than the original (it's more intuitive), the .png banners displayed for the only game i had on nand that was included in his image folder and it loaded the one and only game i tried without a problem (dr. mario). Kudos to you sir and thank you for your efforts

I gave this a go and it didn't work, but before I go any farther troubleshooting, I was wondering what kind of sizes you folks with it working are getting for the nand dump? Mine was only 149MB. Does that sound feasible for a Wii with less than 100 blocks free, or did something go wrong with the dump?

That doesnt sound right since the wii has only 512mb memory on the nand and if you have less than 100 blocks free then your dump should be bigger then 149mb.

I use fstoolbox0.3 selected ios249 you hit a a couple times and it gives you the file tree for your nand and then you just hit 1 and wait a while if you have a bunch of stuff installed mine is about 425mb.

Then it will give you all your files on your sd card in the folder FSTOOLBOX and you just copy everything from there and put it on the root of your sd or I put mine on the root of my fat32 partition of my external usb drive.

Triiforce works pretty good for me most of the time I really haven't had any trouble playing any games other then some wiiware.

I have tried to use wad2nand and it never works for me it doesn't give me big files just really small ones so I don't know if I am doing something wrong there the 2 folders it gives you just has a bunch of small files in there. I use wad manager 1.5 with nand emulation on but usually I can only install 1 game then I get a 1024 error and I have to reload the wii and reopen wad manager to install another game. Not sure what is going on there sometimes it lets me do more then one but usually craps out after 2-3 at most usually 1 though.

I tried your program marc_max and it worked good for me, I like the setup much better and I like the way it auto loads the usb since I have no reason to load the sd or regular nand because I keep everything on usb. Might be nice to have a sd version also or have a menu to change or use a button to change but I like the auto loading of the usb because that is what most people are going to have their games installed. I have a 500gb external drive with 1gb fat32 (should have made it bigger didnt think I would use it) and the rest wbfs I am going to repartition it soon or unless someone know how I can resize it without losing all of my games I already have on my wbfs partition.

I did get a dump when I used your program the first time and I tried it again and it worked fine so idk maybe you poeple having problem dont have something right in your system because mine works great and I like the way all of the games are displayed rather then having to scroll through to see 1 at a time.

Also I am liking the new version above I like the setup even better I would love to try it if you can post the .dol

Download triiforce mrc alpha1

Here is it the first alpha version.
Place the images on sdhc:/triiforce_mrc/
Please tell me if it works for you.

NOTE: Code is still very very dirty and some menus/texts will probable change. I will clean it tomorrow.

nice, i tried using your usbloader a while back but never could get the icons to appear even when placed in the folder the readme suggested, any chance you could help me out with that?

You should have used wiiflow as base and add triiforce functions to that.. Seriously, if anyone here is going to do triifroce GUI, please do it using wiiflow source code. That's something utterly mindblowing, shall I say.

Second.

Please could someone point me to a decent tutorial (English) on how to setup and use this app?

Only things I´ve found are too vague. If someone already posted a good one in this thread, sorry I´m too lazy to read through over fourty pages of posts.

Also if there is one, it REALLY should be added to the original post.

I´m fine with a pm if someone would rather do it that way. Sorry for bugging, and thanks in advance.

How would we get the images, and is it stills only?

Here are some sites I found with wiiware covers (for VC console games, just search google images)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:WiiWare_game_covers
http://wehackwii.pbworks.com/browse/#view=...iWare%20Banners
http://wiiware.nintendolife.com/covers

use NUS downloader's TITLE DATABASE to know what to name the image (ie. Tetris party should be named WTPx, where x is the country code - E for NTSC/USA)
http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Title_database

if someone takes the time to develop a collection of wiiware/vc game covers, can you please post it online for the rest of us?
