I have recently arm9'd my N3DS I would like to transfer my saves over from my GW O3DS. But I cant figure out how to get SVDT to work.

So I got SVDT running on my O3DS. The saves I am trying to get are from a .3DS game run on a Gateway (emuNAND 10.3). SVDT backs up the folder (i think, again I dont know how this works) and gives me a folder. When I check the folder and try to copy it over to my other SD card in my arm9 N3DS, I dont think there is any actual save data there. Its just an empty backup folder. I couldnt figure it out so I tried gateway's back up program and I get error "FFFFFFFF". I think "FFFFFFFD" is the no free space error, no idea what this one is. Any help is welcomed.

I personally prefer JK Savemanager over SVDT. It's a pretty good alternative, been using that to transfer saves from my n3ds xl to my regular n3ds with no issue. Though I'm not sure if it works with GW.

Pretty sure it does not. Because Gateway isn't like the Sky3DS.

I'm pretty sure svdt only works with legitimate games. Use JK Savemanager, that works with .cias but I have no idea about Gateway saves though.

I have a version with the workaround everyone uses for SDF and my manager programmed in. I'm just waiting to hear if it actually works right or not. I don't have a gateway to test it with.

I use JKSaveManager, it takes a bit of time if you're doing lots of games (you have to change each gateway save file name to 0004000002C23200.sav one by one) but it works

I appreciate your reply. I was having trouble knowing what exactly to search for since my situation was a bit odd.

You realize this is my thread lol and you can't summon anyone where with a pound sign.

I have been trying this method since last night and jkSM freezes upon confirming a filename for the backup.
