I am buying a 4g iPod soon and I was wondering if I could transfers my app saves from my old iPod touch to my new 4g with iTunes I heard that you can use the backup option in iTunes but the thing is can I use a 2g backup on a 4g?

I think you can sync the data to it from a backup of your old iPod. Don't take my word for it though.
