Trading Section and Old Member Status

How many years of membership constitutes an "old" member?

He is wondering how long it would take for him as an "old" member to gain access to the trading forum and the answer is 50posts for access. find a mod to PM for more deets and access( maybe b4 50)!

Not definitive but 100 posts is across the board and 50 posts for I think it was either a year or two and then you can PM one of the mods (probably best to make it an admin/supervisor too). Exceptions are probably only for those with a longstanding IRC presence or with some other big contributions to the site in general.

An "old member" is a relative term, usually I think of old members as those who knew about GBAtemp before we actually became GBAtemp. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then you're not considered an old member.
Fact: We used to have ROMs, no seriously, we did.
However, there are only a few members that date so far back. Thus, I would also consider people who were at GBAtemp before the site redesign (before Jan 2005) to be old members as well.
