Towers II: Plight of the Stargazer (Gameboy Color, Unreleased)

Source:https://www.gamingalexandria.com/wp/2020/01/18/towers-ii-plight-of-the-stargazer-gbc-unreleased/

Originally developed for the Atari Jaguar, the American-style RPG was revived in late 2000 to be released on the Game Boy Color by publishers Telegames and Vatical Entertainment.
Towers II: Plight of the Stargazer was completely finished, playtested, ESRB-rated and ready for manufacturing before it was cancelled.
Publisher Vatical Entertainment was having financial difficulties by that time and was not able to secure distribution for the game.
Lead programmer Vince Valenti gave full permission to preserve the ROMs online.

Thanks for sharing. Got a post up on the portal.
Tested it on an EZFlash Jr (GB/GBC flash cart) and it loaded up fine.

Quite a nice little title actually.

That box art tows the line between boring and nostalgic for me lol. But I am way more jealous of that NES style GBA.
Yeah, that box art looks cool, but I hate that they only saved it as a GIF, so if we add it to our arcades, the box art looks like trash compared to all the others.

Seemed like a fun exercise

For the sake of any lawyerbots whatever my additions to that might be I disclaim. Include it as you will.

As for the GBA. I was stateside when prices were quite nice and wanted a GBA. That was one of the choices so there was no choice other than that for me. Several have remarked on it over the years though.
