Pokemon HeartGold just froze on me after about an hour of playing...

Unfortunately, you are not the only one. I have had two freezes for now in Pokemon Soul Silver. In the official M3 forum, reports about more freezes are accumulating.

Just a thought, have you tried reformating the card, i reformatted mine and ill play into it for an hour to see what happens.

Hmmmm i hope they REALLY fix it this time. What a let down... so many people saying freezing....

I can confirm the fix doesn't work. had my sister walk in and out doors and after 50 or so "events" the game crashed with the known problems.
The cart was formated.

i just got a "save file corruption" message...... what the heck happened to the fix this update supposedly had, damn it... please fix it i M3 team :[
Confirmed that the freezing is still there..... god damn it... before you make an update at least make sure the game runs without problems.. not doing half job and just bundling a big update together only to have us let down...
sorry for being harsh, but i wanted to play pokemon and find the freezing is still there... its annoying to find that the team didnt solve it :/

I played about 20-30 minutes, going into Cerulean Cave to find MewTwo (50 events minimun), and no freezing.
For me, fix worked.

Well i tested pokemon souls silver and it corrupted my save file

I played for 20 mins after starting a new game and didnt have any freezes

How do I integrate 4.8 X onto Sakura as well? I tried just copying my old m3sakura folder to this new system folder but it still only loaded touchpod >_>

Indeed, the period until it freezes seems to a bit prolonged. Also, having the firmware create a brand new save does not fix the problem.

Just to be 100% certain I formated my card and downloaded the firmwire form another source same with the rom, I started it freash and walked in and out of the door about 30+ times and it froze+black screen, so yeah it dosen't work for me.

okay I understood waiting for the fix, but they didn't even get it fixed correctly.....how the hell do you release a "fix" that doesn't work right? do any cards currently play this game 100%? and don't say yes the ak2i blah blah blah, unless you've actually tested it and found it to not freeze at all during an extended period of play.
