you can convert binary (hexedit) format to extinfo.dat format.

it will solve almost anti-piracy game.

infolib.dat can only solve the patch speed, or part of the patch error.
savlib.dat can only solve the save size.

Binary =/= Hex
Binary = Base 2 counting system, 0 and 1.
Hex = Base 16 counting system, 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F

But anyway... You still need to get the information needed for the extinfo.dat file, and I'm pretty sure that the average person isn't going to know how to get it... and I have to assume that most of those who CAN get the info probably aren't willing to put the time and effort into maintaining a public extinfo.dat.

Error code=-4 problem has somethink to do with infolib.dat or extinfo.dat for TTDS or ysmenu for R4

Take the game world of zoo (E)

If i use the infolib.dat from http://sites.google.com/site/weeklyinfolib/ , the game will get a error code =-4

If i use the infolib.dat from dsm0125.zip from http://gamewiki.jp/uploader/dsma/ the game runs no problem

But infolib.dat uses the extinfo.dat file

So it possable that we have to wait for a working extinfo.dat of infolib.dat

From what I'm to understand, there was an updated infolib.dat that works in conjunction with extinfo.dat. But if you're using an older version of infolib.dat that has been updated, it won't have the needed code to work with the extinfo.dat properly.

Anyway, the problem with the 'error code =-4' that you see on some games is a loading issue, not an antipiracy measure so a fixed/updated infolib.dat will be able to fix it.
And as I said... the problem is, I don't think anyone who knows HOW to update infolib.dat/extinfo.dat is willing to maintain it.

This is -=ALL=- hex.
There is NO binary what-so-ever.

Binary looks like 0100010010010010
Hex looks like 01 FF 37 A0 9D F1 C4

Hope he could upddate it soon for games like bookworm and bejuled twist, with the lifolib.dat speed issue to fix errorcode =-4 problem

However the Jap infolib.dat dose fix error code =-4 problem with world of zoo (E) , unlike the new form http://sites.google.com/site/weeklyinfolib/ 19th jan
 
I am willing to give it a try to maintain the extinfo but I just need some info on how to do so. Any tutorials floating around?

That's the problem. There are many people who would be willing to add fixes to the extinfo.dat but it seems there is no western person who knows how to do this.

This actually looks promising. With this I can at least see the Game ID's and the hex changes made. Of course we still need to find someone with the skill to crack the AP in games before we can make any additions to the extinfo.

If you bubble click on an ID and click once in the popup box F5 key also has some functions

I think [][] (O)... is open

locate your infolib.dat , extinfo.dat , or savlib.dat and run , select same type to open list of it

Bubble click on ID to open info

Indeed, but you have to know what you're looking for and what you're replacing it with. This tool itself does not crack games.
