All I can think is that it looks like every other cash in game.
Looks alright, but that's the easy part. How will it play?
looks like a fFCC beat-em-up to me
no online means fail...
Looks like it'll be good to me.
They wanna make it as clsoe to the arcades as possible.
I think thats a wise choice.
Something Konami didn't do and went with some odd piss poor platformer game engine.
I think its safe to say it'll be at least decent.
it looks like a okay game
i might not go for it
I would've preferred it to be a 2D fighter, but as long as it plays like one I'm happy
i actually wanted such a game for TMNT cuz the first ds title was not good or should i say not actiony enoguh but how this will turn out is nice to look out for
I don't think there's much chance of that happening nowadays.
FYI there's still loads of 2D fighters coming out nowadays.
I would rather have seen a remake of Turtles in Time for the DS just like there was for the PS3 and 360, not a new game which will probably be bad. Wi-Fi and online co-op would be awesome, this just looks really lame as the graphics are garbage since they decided to go with a half assed 3D art style where everything looks blocky, Turtles in Time had smoother character textures and actually looked like real characters instead of blobs like this junk.
I am already predicting bad reviews for this one
No arcade fighter looks this bad aside from the old Sega Virtual Fighter games, ya know those games that were also on the Saturn so many years ago and also could be played at arcades
Well, I'd prefer fully animated 2D graphics myself, but I don't think the graphics look all that bad on the DS for this one.
I mean, I've seen worse.
The turtles look like turtles, they have the bandandas around their heads, the bad guy looks likea bad guy and the wodden planks look like wooden planks.
Even the fence looks like a not too horribly pixelated fence.
Also Virtua Fighter does indeed look bad compared to todays graphics, but its an old early 3D game that helped pave the way for 3D games and fighters today. So you should have more respect for that game.
But anyway, point is the graphics don't look early DS graphics horrible and seem to have some efforts.
Plus I'm really more worried about the gameplay.
Fight a buncha enemies, mix it up well enough, introduce new ones every new level or so, keep the levels reasonable in length and fight a boss.
If they keep with that it shouldn't be too bad.
Add some alternate paths and story arcs and alternate bosses and it'll be pretty good.
We'll see how it is on release though.
I love playing Turtles in Time on SNEmulDS. If this is as good as that this gets my vote as a great beat 'em up
