I think im in a similar boat to many newbies. I followed a nice little tutorial for installing the homebrew channel with twlight hack.

Then I installed CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042.wad and I have DVDX cIOS_249 installed, so I could use 0.1 launcher.

Now I have installed the latest Cios and 0.3 from wiigator. on my 3.3E system. The whole time not fully understanding what I was doing but very pleased with the results.

My question is that I would like to tidy up my Wii up. I dont want any thing on there that doesnt need to be. Mainly so I can keep track of whats installed. Remove any Cios I dont need, remove dvdx? I have a channel with a question mark which im not sure if I should delete. What can I delete, and how? A step by step would be good.

    Thanks in Advance,

    Tim

Try using Any Title Deleter to delete the stuff you don't need.

    Thanks. I have anytitledeleter.

But I dont know what I need to delete.

I take it I shouldn't uninstall the CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042.wad using wad manager?

I say to keep the DVDx incase you decide to install the MPlayer DVD Wii. (DVD player)

Same here. I tried Polar Express earlier and it just sits there.

What do I do to get Dvd playback back? I cant remember.

Also can we now remove 249? How Do I do that? Is 249 now useless?
