Ever feel important? Like there is something grand out there for you?

But you look about yourself and notice your life is passing you by. You fall into desperation and realize you are no one and you're going nowhere.

It doesn't have to be like this. You have to break the inertia and do something. ANYTHING. The worst sin is lying idle.

If you throw yourself at some greater thing - no matter what is is - you will find yourself serene and content.

Don't listen to the old men who say a simple life is one well lived. Don't be content to tend the fields and simply birth children. You are capable of so much more.

Consider your position as a human being. The only conscious life form. Able to morph the world around yourself. Your kin have created the atom bomb. Don't you see that you could have the power to build and destroy worlds?

Throw off the yoke of the modern world. Throw off the media and the distractions. Try to find yourself beyond the unrelenting radio waves and endless noise.

Clear your mind, and then rush headlong into life.

The obvious question then is what if my decision is to whole heartedly do nothing/lay idle?

Laziness feels bloody awesome and I am seemingly one of the all time greats at it.

Like this guy has nothing on me

Some might say that the effort I put into being lazy counteracts the whole being lazy part but I reckon they just don't know how the game is played.

" Ever feel important? Like there is something grand out there for you?"
Yeah being a teenager sucks. Thankfully you tend to get through it.

Haha well I am 24 and I still have an idea of grandiosity.

Better to have dreams than not.

If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
