I watched Thor today. Was a pretty cool movie. Natalie Portman was, once again, very attractive playing the lead female role. The action was great, the story was awesome, and Natalie Portman was in the movie. The after credits scene was pretty different from former ones of other Avenger flicks. Might be the first time that there was actually an idea of what might happen in The Avengers.
Went to see Thor instead of Pirates 4, as I've heard pretty meh things about the new Pirates movie, but had heard amazing things about Thor. People were definitely right about Thor.
pretty good movie, they definitely knew how to mix up romance, action and comedy pretty well, its a pretty enjoyable movie, and leaves you wishing for the sequel. pirates, i expect it to be one of those movies that are just made for the producers to make money of. like shrek, shrek was amazing on the 1st movie but then went in downfall
I watched Thor 3 days ago and found it kinda okayish. I found it a bit boring and I predicted many things that would happen in the movie before they happened
But it seems that I left the cinema before the credits end
Thor was pretty cool. I regret watching it again though. I realized how many things were wrong with it.
For instance, the entire human world consists of a small town without any shops and that are basically just a hospital, a diner, and a lab, along with a few houses. Then outside is a desert. It's almost too bleak. Can you imagine what it would have been like if the epic battle was in New York or something? Or at least some place where there's actually something in it and that might actually exist.
But it was a good movie, I'll give it that much. Just don't rewatch.

what happened in the after credits scene ?
I'll go ahead and leave it in a spoiler below, you know, in text form. Remember, you always need to stay for the after credits scene in any movie revolving around The Avengers.
It has the old scientist walking through a kind of underground tunnel system meeting up with the main black dude that runs S.H.I.E.L.D. (you know, the one with the eye patch). Meeting up with him, the scientist and the leader begin to talk. A suitcase is opened revealing the item that was stolen from the ice troll's world by King Odin long ago with a wondering of how to unleash it's power. Before the scientist replies, the figure of Loki appears beside him (of course, invisible to everybody there) and speaks a sentence about how interesting it is. The old scientist replies with the exact line. After that, the scene kind of ends.

As mentioned, Thor lands in a desert in New Mexico. That state isn't known for its vast cities, nor its lack of deserts. I personally find New York getting consistently torn apart being fairly cliche at this point. Plus, the kind of dry placement helped to not detract from the action. In a large city environment, the director tends to focus on the civilians and the destruction of the city for more of the scene than the actual fight. I thought the setting was chosen very well. It's not like Thor was going to travel far and wide with his heavy restrictions, especially with everything he needed to proceed being right there.
I've seen it twice and still think it was fairly awesome.
Although I would've LOVED to see more of Thor I had to think of it the way they did. It had to play it's part in not being too fantasy like between the realms and with the characters while also staying withing the same "realm" of the other marvel films so that it could mix with the rest and their eventual big movie. I'm expecting a lot more action in the next film since this was just merely an introduction.
I did get bored at times though and see what people mean by how it wasn't so great... It deserved something like a 7.8 or at the highest an 8/10. The instant love interest bothered me a bit also... I felt it all happened way too fast and they could have had a bit more here and there. I'm hoping to see any deleted scenes in the future that carry some interest.
This movie has gotten me more excited than I already was for The Avengers and I really can't wait to see what they pull off. I'm only scared of Joss Whedon handling the film....
Captain America is next and with this final tie-in The Avengers is set to begin!!!
....Well not really since it's already started filming but you should get what I mean lol
You're going to make me shed a single tear by saying such things!!!
Watch Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk movie (2008), Thor, and Captain America when it is released next month with their scenes after the credits.
These movies will have a total round up to The Avengers which is set to release next year.
The Avengers, basically, are a team of major super-heroes who fight off villains (just as super-heroes would do lol) but more on a major scale where it takes all of them to do so.
Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Captain America, and other major characters (Nick Fury, Loki, and more) from the films will all be in it.
Well that's cool. You might have already noticed the parts with S.H.I.E.L.D. and Nick Fury in Iron Man 2 already then. I'd suggest trying to find them online if you can. They aren't really important but they do make the die hard fans squeal like crazy lol
I''ll actually try to find them now.
EDIT:
I believe these are in order:

Iron Man Scene http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=en5Ixx3EE-U
Incredible Hulk Scene. Skip to 50 or 51 seconds and you'll see it. It wouldn't let me link it here properly.

Iron Man 2 Scene. Disregard anythig after the hammer.

Thor Scene
There are also a few small hints Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk.
In one scene of Iron Man 2 you can clearly see Captain America's Shield in Tony's work space. In an alternate deleted scene of The Incredible Hulk, Captain America or his original shield is clearly visible in ice. They also make little mentions about trying to get a team together and whatever else but you have to pay attention to the small things they say in all the movies.

I've owned both iPhone and Androids over the years. Both are just as good, other than Apples higher price. I'm currently on Android, Samsung S21 I think, and very happy with it.
