Freethewads'd it.

It works now.

But.

I need a classic controller.

Which I do not have.

...Dammit. Another humongous waste of time.

What did you think you were going to play it with?

I thought free the wads only really worked for snes?
Plus you can use a gamecube controller if you have one.
0 seeders? you try thePB?

EDIT: been playing it, how do you throw apples?

I don't know. I'm new at this.

Didn't think I'd need so many add-ons to play other games...

(GameCube controller, Classic Controller, what else is there?! >.>)

EDIT: This solves most of my problems.

Now I can use a controller I'm familiar with! Time to look for my old PS1 controllers...

I got the same problem with forcast & news channel. My Wii is NTSC 4.1 (LU51), IOS60 patched with dop-mii, cIOSX rev19 & cIOS222 rev5. I bought the console few weeks ago and it came with this channel issue. I can´t also enter the shop channel because it tells to update system......

just replace the banner file, i did that with megaman 10 and Mario Kart. I Replace the Megaman 10 NTSCU banner with the Mario Kart PAL banner and that message dissapeared.

But my case is different because its about factory channels, not wiiware or vc channels. What should i do?

Yeah I thought doing that, but not sure if its completely safe...
DOP-Mii is one of the safest apps to use
And I've never known someone bricking his wii by installing the shop channel...

What you could also try doing is installing Priiloader, and using the region-free channels hack. I accidently downloaded an NTSC WAD for use on a PAL Wii, and this solved my problem without resorting to using FreeTheWads. (This was on a 4.1E Wii, I'm not sure if this works on 4.2)
