I don't see how awesome he is. I doubt he contributed much to the community, and from my limited knowledge about him I think he was more well known as a joker or a joke.

Well, he was entertaining nonetheless, and it made my experience with gbatemp nicer.
I do see how why you called him overrated though.
 
I just want to ask something...

How come BoneMonkey isn't allowed another chance? Its happened in the past before that banned people have come back and been good members (fischju), so why isn't BoneMonkey allowed to try that? Is it because we know it is him and don't think he can do it? fischju didn't announce it was him until he had a ton of posts, is that what the difference is?

I think we should just give him a second chance. Don't unban his old account, but give him a second chance on a new one.

The mods said something about giving him multiple chances in the past.

On an unrelated note, i find it really funny that so many people are judging bonemonkey, or celebrating ibmd when they created their account after he was banned. Bandwagon much?

I agree with you in a way, but if you look you will see he has a post count of 1. Where he basically went into the main forum and talked a bunch of shit at someone, or so Ive been told. I doubt he would change. Remember his last topic that got him banned? That really wasnt cool!

Also Toni made a really good point, why should all the staff have to chase after someone, clear up their garbage posts and have a load of extra work to do, just because that person thinks its funny?

Sorry, but I don't find it funny, and I don't need any extra work around here (and I believe that other staff members agree), I mean, I don't mind him here, as long as he acts normal, but we all know that he can't do that..His humor doesn't quite fit here, and we ain't gonna get ourselves extra job around here..

To answer your question directly science, as you see, he was "allowed" to get back, as long as he leaves past in the past, and stop acting like a BoneMonkey, if he registered, and started posting, nobody would know it's him, but the point is, he can't do that, he registered, and started to troll/spam/flame right away, and kept on praising BoneMonkey character..

Point is, he was given second chance....he blew it!

Do you know how hard is for normal member to reach 100% warn level?! It's almost impossible, as long as you act normal..But he wasn't acting normal! You should see his Warn history log!
Calling female members "bitches", trolling, flaming, insulting, racism etc. and I'm not kidding!!

It's not that he can't understand, he doesn't want to!! He's perfectly satisfied the way it is, I just think that he he wasn't aware of possibility of getting BANNED for real could happen at some point!!
