Hacking Theme Brick -_-

Back here for the same reason, Theme bricked my wii. You'd think in 5 years i would learn to leave this alone. Just keep trying to push things past its limit... Anyways, i backed up my NAND and installed bootmii as an IOS but didn't installed perloader. How boned am i? or is their something i overlooked?

I'm not much on Wii's but since you backupped your NAND, you could flash it back with hardware programmers.
So you're not totally fucked when it comes to that.

You could send your Wii to Deadly and have him flash your orginal NAND back.

Next time, don't install themes anymore ;p

Aye no prob.
It's the only thing I know that could be done at this point (no Priiloader/BootMii IOS)
Atleast you're smart enough to make a NAND backup which is what a lot of people don't do (Which is really bad)

Iirc, you only need your NAND keys these days...
But I could be wrong.

Bootmii IOS IS installed, it says in the OP. Can't you use that to restore the NAND backup? I know it's not recommended, but still. I'm not sure how IOS bootmii works considering I have a boot2 vulnerable Wii.

Theme bricked Wii's don't show the Sysmenu and you need that to access the HBC to access BootMii ;p
He doesn't have PriiLoader so he can't access the BootMii IOS unfortunately.

The easiest thing now would be reflashing the NAND. You could try to work with SaveMii, but I'm pretty sure you'd need a modchip to start a burned autorun disc.

If you installed a system menu ios patched with dip you could load a recovery disc without a modchip. Modmii would have installed a dip patched system ios, same with the softmod any wii guide on wiihacks, also darkcorp or cioscorp would work. Do you think you have a dip patched system ios?

I'm not sure. I have used "Pimp my Wii"'s network update and it installed alot of "needed" files. Would that program have installed the files you were talking about?
