regarding the DSTWO cart, what size micro sd card would you use for it?
The reason why I'm asking is that the OS/KERNEL for DSTWO is larger than that of the DSTT's, and I'm just wondering if my existing 2gb card will be large enough.

Meh...it doesn't really matter what size microSD you want to use for it...Just because the DSTWO's kernel/OS is larger doesn't mean that it won't fit (unless you are at the limit as it is)...if anything, I'm sure you can take out some unneeded bits (dunno what though...there might be a MS2 in there I think).

If it were me, I would go for a variety of flashcarts because I'm just like that xD.

Seconded. Since (not to be a show-off or whatever) I have my own credit card, I bought different DSi compatible cards to test out. A variety is always awesome 8D
But if I am to recommend something specific, I'd say the Supercard DSTwo too. Seriously, it's awesome. Otherwise, runner-ups are the Acekard2i, the iEdge, and the M3izero. They're crazy cool.

Hi after reading through the intro post and looking on other sources I can't seem to figure out whats smarter.

Right now I own a R4SDHC card which continues eating my SD cards thus forcing me to look for other cards and all I really want from my cards is the ability to play the games that come out piracy or no piracy and save them as the games intented. So if these are my requirements is their any specific card I just must have?

Cause I later realised that the R4SDHC isn't that smart a choice for this

To think, the money spent replacing microSDs could've been spent replacing the R4SDHC, lol.
Anyhow, if you want SDHC, Acekard 2i is a good choice, as is Supercard DStwo.

Do you just want to play DS games? Buy the acekard.
Do you want lots of advanced functions like GBA emulation, e-book reading, real-time gamesaves and gameguides, and in the future, video support and SNES emulation? Buy the Supercard.
Where do you want to buy them? Shoptemp of course.

I suppose it's worth mentioning you could always buy an EZ flash 3in1, it's better than GBA emulation, since it plays GBA roms natively.
All you do is store GBA roms on Slot-1, and load them into slot 2. Dead easy.

Hi everyone,

I made the mistake of purchasing the r4 sdhc card and it corrupts all saves from emulators (making emulation not an option for me since I only play rpgs..) and tends to corrupt saves from nds roms if i save more than one game at a time.

Anyway I have narrowed down my replacement to either the acecard 2 or the supercard dstwo. My question is will the acecard 2 support emulators like lameboy (and save)? Also do these cards allow one to have saves on more than on rom at a time?

Thanks so much
nia

Both should work with lameboy (not as sure about the Supercard DSTWO but even if it doesn't work, it will probably get fixed up in a snap if you tell them). Both cards also allow more than one save on the rom at a time (technically they all can if you just rename the save file.)

Yes what should i do?
I have an ez-flash vi what should i buy a second ez-flash vi or a DSTWO
There are no flashcarts that have IR compatibility, but if I was given the choice between a DSTWO or a second ez-flash (if only I had a first xD), I would definitely go for the DSTWO as long as money isn't an issue.

I bet these people would be happier to spend $3.30 on their flashcard rather than $15.68. It's a big difference.
Seems like an R4 is cool for folks with a phatDS and don't want too many bells/whistles. Where can one get a known wood compatible R4 for $3.30?

This place has it for $3.19 but who knows if it plays well with Wood: http://www.I'm a poopy head.com/product/R4-Micr...for-NDS-DS-Lite

R4 is now down to $3.19 and I confirm it runs wood. AceKard 2i is cheep and legit too. I'm a poopy head.com is a good place if you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks.
