Most people won't have any hype until a gameplay video comes out. Now that the gameplay video is out, the thread has been created.

If I don't get to play this game tomorrow I'll freak. I'm having Sims withdrawl because I gave sims 1 to my cousin, we don't have the first sims 2 disc (long story, PLUS we had to do a system wipe because of a virus), and sims 3 doesn't work on my computer.

So I take it that there is not currently a Sims game dumped on DS that faithfully re-creates anywhere near the "PC experience" of The Sims? I wouldn't mind checking out a more current Sims game (besides Sim City) on DS. Last one I saw someone actually play on a PC was the original "The Sims" with a couple of addons. I'm not real familiar with the series (I always thought of it as more of a girl's game) but I think I'd like to check it out just because I can. What already dumped game would be considered the best Sims experience on DS? Just the best one to check out as we wait for this new one, which I'll likely also check out if dumped.

It's not that the game is girly, it's just very popular among females in comparison with other games.

yes it is and for the xbox 360 aswell. my order for the ps3 version is all payed for should be shipping tomorrow if i am lucky.
