Usually you only have to change the game ID in the cheat database !

If you use R4CCE, on the Dragon Quest V folder (in the database) click on the button near "Dup?" (normally is 3 dots "...") to find the patched ROM.

I don't know how cheats work on a G6 DS Real. But when I'm in a situation like yours, i only replace the game ID in the cheats database (replace with the game ID from the patched ROM). And it works !

If you use R4CCE to edit your cheats database, you should make your cheats work with the patched !

Uhm, I guess that the G6 DS REAL uses the same sytem as the M3 DS REAL, which I have. If you've changed the game ID, and cheats still doesnt't work you have to wait for an update of the G6 team (same team as M3 team??). At least, that's what they told me.

I guess you just have a plain Action Replay?
Well, I think I have to disappoint you, you do need a micro USB cable. I also have a AR, but I don't use it anymore because of:
1) Flashcard cheat system is much better (my opinion)
2) I also lost the micro cable

Anyway, it shouldn't be that hard to find a micro USB cable, just search on Google or something.

Hi folks,

for M3 DS REAL - try to patch DQV with DSATM and enable DSTT Option, then all cheats should work.

If any Problems, then you can get a xdelta - Patch from me.

What Acton Replay code editor do you use because i download cheat code editor (r4) and i open your files the first time i can put as much as i want on it the second time an error comes up The one which says send or dont send)

In megaman battle network 5 double team ds cheat I downloaded here. The cheat "All Chips" required pressing L button to activate. I did press L, it dose freeze a little bit, but when I checked the folder I found no more chips in it, someone please help!

Hey just a heads up for M3Real users, the other cheats elixirdream made for Dragon Quest V (thank you and good job btw) dont work on the M3Real when the game has been patched with DSATM. We will have to wait untill the M3 team come out with a new system update as the emails ive been sending to them have just bounced back

since the bypass protection cheat is not needed right after the game just finished loading, I don't see why you need to patch the game then put it on M3Real, just using the bypass cheat should work fine on M3Real...

i am just too lazy going through all the long winded dialogues just to get to the cube for unlocking the menus!

Wrong, the game requires the cheat to always be on no matter what. If you turn it off at any point and save, the game screws up.
