well stating the obvious for the time being isnt going to bring them back to life...i mean consider the fatcs of who we are dealing with in reality...im sure selling M3 Adapters isnt the funnest job in the world and when coding you face many many obstacles...in a real world setting, lets just hope they are hard at work from things we have posted on the m3i forum...especially important ones like

Wii Compatibility
Cleaner Firmware Releases
Boot Menu 2.1

Word Wrap In The E-Book Function
More Media Formats Supported
Higher Homebrew Compatibility

the list could go on, but those are the main ones i would like to see mixed with what is most important...

an even more optimistic outlook would be that they are may be making an entirely new card with a processor and ram like the iplayer and ds two... Super M3i Zero anyone?

Well,I feel kinda pissed by buying the M3i in the first place...I bought AK2i 2 weeks after I received my M3i from eBuylife.c*m.When I compared between my M3i and AK2i,I had to agree that AKAIO fw is superior to touchpod or sakura (latest AKAIO just released about a week ago but sakura/touchpod???).M3i for $21 vs AK2i for $15.50..... I feel losing guys!

Before the latest AKAIO was released we had no updates for quite awhile. While Sakura/Touchpod might be somewhat slower, if you bought you Acekard2i at the same time as your M3 you'd still be waiting for a new firmware.
 
I'm getting some games that give me the "Save Data File Format Error" message and I'm a Mac/OS X user, how should I go about reinstalling the original firmware?
1. Backup save files
2. Format Micro SD Card
3. Download the FCORE.DAT file to a PC/Windows
4. Reflash the M3i Zero
5. Get newest update(system folder) and overwrite it on my PC instead of Mac?

sorry but umm that is a bug in sakura 1.47x 3rd edition because in previous editions the restore save feature was not present and when they reimplemented it. alas, it was bunk...
so pretty much any modifications of saves backing up and/or restoring them is pretty much a one way ticket into corruption of your precious saves...i just back them up by copying them directly from the microSD/HC card...safest way you can ever back up...

but if you want a solution...there is none i could give you without knowing the specific file to copy that has the recent save backups on them...i rember reading about something like that when sakura was in its infancy and people were scrambling to find out what each file did...but im not about to go scrolling through like a 100 pages to find it...
 
I just added the system folder to my m3 ds simply but when it loads up it says couldnt find _ds_menu_.dat

whats wrong with it?
 
Is it just me, or did the 4th version glitch out?
I tried running a game and it stayed on a black screen.
I downgraded back to the 3rd version and its working fine. :/
Help?

I formatted my SD card and all that stuff, and then flashed 1.47 4th Edition and it wouldn't let me boot a single game. Sure it let me go to the menu, but when I got to a game, it just stayed on a black screen after loading. It didn't even show the "Game Patch, Now Loading..." screen, and I tried EVERYTHING. :/
And then I downgraded to the 3rd version without formatting and it worked. What the hell? :/

I'm wondering, is there a way to view Shift-JIS encoded characters, or even Japanese Unicode characters, using M3 Sakura?
I've tried the latest version of Sakura for Euro/Asia, which renders my songs as ????????? instead of the Japanese.
I've also tried to run the Japanese version of Sakura, but it fails to load (language lock I think, gives the 'no english files' error.) It also crashes when I add the .eng files.
