Apologies if this is somewhere else, but how do you turn on/off cheats with Sakura? All I see in the files when I open them is the folders (unlike the REAL firmware, where it had buttons for NDS and GBA). When I select the files, they just open (instead of giving a launch screen like the REAL firmware where you could monkey around with cheats and whatnot). Maybe it's because of how I have my folders formatted - like the REAL: /SYSTEM, /NDS, /GBA, and /CHEAT. Am I doing it wrong?

THANK YOU!! It says this NOWHERE that I can find. Would highly recommend adding it to the FAQ.

Q: How do I access the cheat menu, soft-reset function, etc? (Top)
A: These features are all in the ROM config menu. You can access the config menu by sliding a ROM to the left, or by highlighting the ROM and pressing Y. Follow the steps below to use cheats for NDS ROMs:

1. Enter the NDS ROM config menu and tap the [Cheat Select] icon.
2. Enable cheats (place a check next to them) by highlighting the desired cheat and pressing A.
3. After you have enabled the desired cheats, press B to exit back to the config menu.
4. Tap the [Cheat Switch] icon and set it to "Always On" (or "Toggle" if you want to toggle cheats ON/OFF in-game; refer to the top screen of your DS for the switch button combos).
5. Tap the [Save] icon. The ROM will load automatically with the selected cheats enabled.

Its in the archive of the old sakura.

Yeah, sorry about that. It's partly my own fault for not being faster in updating the FAQ. That's why I left the archive up, but I should really finish transferring everything over.

I assure you guys that I have no affiliation with M3, so I'll get it done

If u mean the loading bar that comes up when u load a game then you cant change the size of it. Other wise I would. but its a .bmp image wich also means that it cant have any transparency on it.

EDIT: Also, not that big of a deal, but when in single line mode and "Hide file extensions" is on. then itll still show file extensions. but when in 2 line mode it wont show them.

Yeah, that's already been posted in the Known Bugs section. g6team has seen the list of bugs in addition to the requests on this thread and has reported them to the guys over at M3.

Is there a difference between the quality of DPG video that SuperC and BatchDPG give?
Super C doesn't encode GOP data unlike BatchDPG and new versions of DSMenc. Don't try to seek in a file encoded without GOP data.

Hey Densetsu3000, all the translation have a bug, the "Language Error" with GBA Cheats.
I've fixed some texts in portuguese translation and fixed this error too.QUOTE(Lathlas @ Feb 27 2009, 12:34 AM) I just finished a port of XBMC's Project Mayhem 3 to Sakura.
Thanks guys! I updated the firmware download with the new Portuguese language file, and while I was at it I updated the cheat.db as well. The skins section has been updated with the PM3 skin.

*EDIT*
This comes a little late, but did anyone else notice that the Chinese Sakura 1.34 has been on 3rd edition since 9 February? It's also up on linFox Domain, but it hasn't been uploaded to Handheld Sources.

It's showing:
QUOTE said:
Current GBA Cheat File:
Language error!!
To fix this, only put one more line in the end of messages.xxx

Then, the message of GBA Cheat File fixed:
QUOTE
Current GBA Cheat File:
A: OK / B: Cancel

If you want, I've fixed the GBA Settings "Language error!!" in all languages: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UN959SBM

hummm something else i just found looking at the link on gbalpha not sure if its mentioned on the forum (using yahoo translation chinese simp to english )

environment: M3DS Real/M3DSi Real

so there is or already will be an M3 Dsi Real card!
smile.gif

something else the post title says

M3SAKURA the system upgrade version A04 1.34 third edition (note says A04)

and yet at the bottom it says .....

# M3SAKURA system upgrade version A03 1.34 second edition of [5058]

# M3SAKURA system upgrade version A02 v1.34 X[7035]

# M3SAKURA system upgrade version A01 v1.33 X[3957]

this leads me to believe they messed up with a typo or there's actually 4 revisions if they are going by (A) being the ALPHA version moniker !?

I want to know what those numbers at the end are supposed to mean. They can't be scene numbers.

Can someone clarify something for me? What is meant by the "M3 Sakura"? Is it just an M3SD Real with Sakura for firmware, or is it an actual new type of M3 with firmware that can, coincidentally, be used on the M3 Real as well?

I recently bought an M3 DS Real and it has a Sakura logo on the top right. Is there another type of "M3 Sakura" card, and if there is: is it any different from what I have?

I believe this question is posted all over the forums :0p. But from my understanding an M3 with the sakura logo is exactly the same as the older ones. They just started putting the sakura logo on them when sakura released in Japan.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on any account.
