Hacking The M3 Quad-Boot

If one of you gmp z003 users have taken a quick trip to my "guide thread" you've probably already noticed what I'm going to ask, but for the people that haven't, I'm wondering if some of you people would like to try that M3 ninetail to see if it works. A little more info is on the thread, but for the most part, I'm just asking you guys to check if it works as it should...since I obviously can't get an M3 for free.

Yeah pretty much, I already made a small speech for it and everything.
Also I suggest investing in something like a Supercard Two, Acekard 2i, Ez-Flash Vi, or R4i DSN since they all have very active teams and less frustration.
The M3 scene is pretty much kept alive by Retro, gaboros, and myself.

Yeah, I'm probably gonna get an AK2i since none of the the domestic sites I feel comfortable buying from had the non-GMP version in stock.

So I was wondering, Is there anywhere that you can buy the original M3i zero, NOT the GMP z0003 version?
Should I just stick with a M3 real?

Edit: I of course am asking this because I want to be able to run the quad-boot.

You might find some places like 0shippingzone that might still have the original in stock, but I can't promise anything since I haven't bought an M3 card in years.
I suggest sticking with the M3 Real if you don't plan on buying a DSi. If you do plan on buying a DSi, buy a better flashcard instead, like an Acekard 2i or Supercard DSTwo

I believe there is nowhere you can buy the old M3i Zero. Just stick with M3 Real (with DS/DS lite).

I believe there is nowhere you can buy the old M3i Zero. Just stick with M3 Real.

There are still some in back stock, but it's a slim chance and really isn't worth the risk of wasting your money to get one.

I use a M3i Zero, and when I use Wood.nds and open another .nds-file, it either creates or opens [game].nds.sav, am I doing something wrong, or...?

Ah, that was my fault, go to the sittings and change the sav file type from .nds.sav to .sav.
Sorry about that, it got reset and I never got around to changing it back.

Press start, that will open the start menu and scroll down to "Sittings"
Press a to open that, from there press r twice and it will show the file system settings, then just scroll down to the save extension and just set it there

No Sakura has not been updated.
I don't know when or if it will ever be updated.
No this doesn't allow you to use M3i Zero on the latest DSi menu.

This thread really isn't about that, but this should work on the latest F_Core no matter what system it happens to work with.
And no I have no plans for this after that, that's up the M3 Team. Sadly I do not encourage, promote, nor enjoy 3DS hacking of any manner this early in it's life and honestly hope this firmware isn't used on the 3DS, but at the same time I am not telling anyone not to use it.

Don't go killing yourself over and M3 Real, did you try backing up your card and reformatting with this?

but is it normal if you launch Touchpad and try to load a commercial rom it dont load the rom but only homebrews?

I removed all the touchpod files other than the launch engine, which is used by Sakura to launch games. So it won't work, unless you add it yourself

I really want to know the evolution of all the software i use/love, and if there is some posibility of a download versions history on filetrip you will made me very happy.

I actually don't have the full changelog anymore. A lot of it went in time since I had to remove most of it and the old txt file has long since been removed since I never updated it enough. A cut down version of the history is in the "Random FAQ/News" tab.

Does this Quad-Boot firmware allow Pokemon White and Black to work properly without a patch, and use cheats? The original M3 Firmware hasn't been upgraded since January, even though when I asked they said they were working on one.. I'm getting bored of waiting.
