Oh, that's crappy.

Thats kind of a big blow in the game

it would have been nice if the game developers included it

what the heck is the point of it then

here some costumes to collect that you "cant" use in the game but you can look at it in the pause menu...

im disappointed in this game so far

Well..... treat it as special unlockable art work. Why can't people live with that, many other games have it too.....

Anyways I think older versions don't have it in the gameplaying too (I don't know, seems that way)

Awwww..... I want more costumes.... some more like these

Love 0:36

Exatly, falling in love. Just an accurately made, absorbing fairy-tale, irresistably positive. Oh, and I LOVE the way the English translation is done- Moe and Herman (you know, thw clam and the crab) really rock

Yeah! Nice to hear that!

I was somewhat worried after just 7.0 from Nintendo Power. Is it only me, or they are being hard on games lately?

My preordered copy has been sent out yesterday... Anyway, I'm enjoying the rom since it's been released

Btw. I don't really care about the costumes.. Yes, they're funny - especially the duck ones

The game is already enough fun without them, even though it's easy.

I also noticed the _very_ good translation effort. The dialogues are really well done - right up there with the rest of the production quality. Oh, and the great attention to detail as well. Lovely game.

I tried this game, thinking it was an awesome platformer..
But then I discovered that the whole game took place underwater..

So I removed it from my sd!

this game is okay i guess. the presentation reminds me of super princess peach. i haven't really played much of it but from what i have played, the game is really easy and there is no difficulty setting so i guess i could breeze through it if i'm bored one day.

The whole game doesn't take place underwater.

And even if it did, Starfy's controls are better than 99.9% of the other platformer's underwater level controls

This games pretty good I just started playing it and even though its a little childish its fun. Anyone know if there are boss fights?

yes there are boss fights, but they're not too challenging

frankly, the special events that unlock secret areas are harder than the boss fights

Well, there's a reason Starfy is usually automatically compared to Kirby. Though the gameplay is fairly different, the vibe and difficulty are very similar. I actually think I prefer this, though, over the last couple of Kirby games. The fact that they put in a cute yet well-written story makes the game very lovable. The platforming in the latter part of the game is also very clever and fresh. Again, none of it is all that challenging, but it's still a lot of fun. The bosses are really good, too -- very satisfying to play through.

My only minor criticism would be that they give you all those costumes and extras to dress Starfy up in, but you can't see them in-game. They're a neat addition but kind of pointless without being able to see them for more than a few seconds while in the pause screen.

Yay! A hater. Hello. Do we look like we care that you don't like this game for no freaking reason? Well I don't.

I think its more fun than Kirby, since the costumes aren't around anywhere and everywhere unlike how Kirby is powered-up almost anywhere I go.

But yeah, the costumes are disspaointing. but then if you treat it as unlockable art present in so many other games, you might feel better.

I'm at the beginning of the 5th world at this point and I think I hit a wall similar to the one I hit playing Kirby's Squeak Squad.

It's still fun and all, but it's not as much fun as it was when I started. I think the game could have benefited from learning more abilities earlier and having the difficulty ramped up a bit. Also, if there were more to unlock than just costumes, diary entries, and heart gems it might add to the variety quite a bit.

Still love it, but improvements could be made for the next one definitely.
