It can't be fake given that there's an MP involved...it's either a misquote or he's a moron.

It's also shocking that an MP (member of the British Parliament) would want to bring the fact to light about his own constituency though...surely you want to make some changes first then brag about the results?

I think the geneal idea is the fact the source is the Mail which has a habit of using hyperbole. And as such they could've his words out of context for example there the Mail was going on about Clegg being some sort of Nazi at the General Election becasue of an ariticle he wrote eight years ago. When in fact the article was about people getting over their World War hostility to Germany and embracing Europe. When it comes to the Mail they prefer creating feelings of outrage rather than actual journalism.

This really doesn't surprise me. I know a few people that work with scroungers (in relation to their children) and many of the parents can't spell, write or speak properly and some of them just don't care about the children as long as they get the benefits.

Well most parents in the North refer to their children as "little shits", so it isn't surprising they wouldn't know their own name if their parents were always too drunk to remember it.
