QUOTE(RockmanForte @ Dec 21 2008, 04:21 PM) Check the post # 9 above.. Which one should I get ? Thanks.
like wiisel said it could be one of the new drives that have no drive chip to put the mod chip on it would be best to have the wii first so you can make sure it has a drive chip.RockmanForte said:Huh ?? What do you mean by drive type it has before I buy the modchip ??? oO
WiiShizzza said:it depends on what you wanna do with your chip. If you are into NAND etc, then get yourself an Infectus or an aragon.
If you only want an up to date chip, get yourself the WiiWasp or the Wiikey2 both are the same, but WASP is better Quality and cheaper.
Solderless means, you get the chip soldered on a clip, so you only have to check if your Driveboard can handle the clips.
Clips only work for older boards like DMS D2A or D2B with no cutted legs.
You'll be good with a wiikey2 on a clip if you don't have solder skills and have proper drive.
Oh yeah and D2C
