I am confused about Wii mod-chip.. Which one ?

And what about this:

Solderless WiiKey 2

or

WiiKey2 with 5/6 Wire Install

im getting a solderless wiikey2. it is by far the best

you just have to know whether your wii is DMS D2A D2B D2C etc.

Well, I am getting a brand new Wii soon.. Is it going to be ok for solderless wiikey2 or wiikey 2 with 5/6/9 wire install?

Or

Should I use Twilight Hack things ? Is it safe ?

Or

Nintendo Wii ISO Loader?? What do you think ?

i'm getting a solderless D2Sun v3.05 and for the record solderless means it is pre-soldered to a wiiclip.
as far as i know D2Sun and wiikey to are compatible with all drive revisions of wii out currently.
the only differences i see in these 2 chips is you set the region and drive type on the D2Sun before you clip it to the drive chip wiikey2 is auto detect also D2Sun solderless is a bit cheaper and doesn't have dvd upgrade features yet..

either one is fine depends on your needs anywho i'd get the wii first and see what drive type it has before i buy the modchip.

Huh ?? What do you mean by drive type it has before I buy the modchip ??? oO
like wiisel said it could be one of the new drives that have no drive chip to put the mod chip on it would be best to have the wii first so you can make sure it has a drive chip.
just saying you don't want to waist your money on something that might not work.

Wiikey haves Auto boot support (So you can auto boot wad manager or such things with a brick to unbrick your wii)

And block update support

Argon have Nand dump and restore also... that makes your wii kinda unbrick able...

it depends on what you wanna do with your chip. If you are into NAND etc, then get yourself an Infectus or an aragon.

If you only want an up to date chip, get yourself the WiiWasp or the Wiikey2 both are the same, but WASP is better Quality and cheaper.

Solderless means, you get the chip soldered on a clip, so you only have to check if your Driveboard can handle the clips.
Clips only work for older boards like DMS D2A or D2B with no cutted legs.

You'll be good with a wiikey2 on a clip if you don't have solder skills and have proper drive.
