This is like the best homebrew application thougt of. Basically it allows users from the wii friend list to join up as players, so what happens is that you run the application and then someone from your friends list join on your system so you can have 2-players connect as if they were on 1 system, obviously this would have to be through wi-fi/ethernet, but basically you have 2-player join up through the internet, so that you can play such games like wii sports over the internet.

Sorry this is a nice idea, but i think it's nearly impossible. You would need to modify the firmware to connect the 2nd player over network instead of bluetooth, this is maybe possible. But you need to transfer the video too, the 2nd player should see what he does. I think you don't realize how much network performance you need for this and _additional_ processing power you would need for this. The processing power of the wii is very limited, there aren't any spare resources for stuff like this. And this would be a lot of very complicated work to do, if it should be possible.

Sounds a bit for me like Hamatchi.

Nah, he wants network play for non network games. With Hamachi you are able to play games over internet which you only could play over LAN without it.

i know that the wii is not a psp (yet). this has been done with most ad-hoc only psp games. the ad-hoc game gets redirected as an infrastructure one and then you are able to play against whoever is on. or something like that. kailink, i think.
