You've never heard of keeping money in your sock, to avoid having to carry a huge bag around, Xalphax?

P.S. there are other places to keep money for the same reason, but the one I'm thinking of is more sex-specific...the bra.
I have definitely kept money in my bra before. In fact, many women have nicknamed it "The Vault."

Generally, the money in sock/bra happens in an environment where carrying a large bag is inconvenient, such as a carnival, a night club, etc. - or in an environment which requires you to "check" such items at the door.

you still need access to your money, but they force you to check your bags at the door. So you take out your money and put it somewhere else first. Let's face it, would YOU trust a stranger with your cash-filled wallet, Xalphax?? I think not!!

Zzzz.. Oh sorry dozing off. Actually it's was also suggested by holiday firms that you should hide money in socks in case you get mugged abroad. At least that way you have money to get taxi to nearest Police station.
