It's a free FPS that's popular in Europe, they even hold tournaments with cash prizes. It's got it's own look, all cyber-punk and futuristic. You can dash and walljump, the gameplay is very fast-paced, and they even have a race mode (and user-created race maps) that I'm especially fond of, they require you to almost try to TAS your way to the end (knowing where and when to jump, and using movement glitches and bunnyhopping to go fast). I love it because it almost makes me feel like I'm flying sometimes.

The actual racing starts about 1:00...

Anyways yeah, it's also got deathmatch and capture the flag and all that stuff too, but I've got a boner for the race mode.

Based on the old Liero games, Lierox is free and great fun for LAN parties. A relatively small download makes this a must for any pc gamer.

The inspiration of Portal 2's gels. A fun indie game that'll entertain you for a while.
I'd say the fact that the concept got picked up by such a huge game makes it quite an impressive freeware game.
